Been curious to try recordings in different rooms
worried that if I open a door I might not be able to close it .

Anyone have any thoughts or views or especially experiences to share?

There is no "door" just try it. Stop watching horrible Michael Keaton movies
I liked it but white noise is nothing like that.

have you personally recorded or know anyone who has actual documentation of white noise?

Always remember, it is in our biological nature to superimpose patterns we understand onto things we don't.

In other words, in my opinion, this could be real..., but there is also a lot of room for healthy skepticism in here.

What one hears is open to suggestion and can be very subjective.

Sort of like looking into the bushes and 'making' yourself recognize a shape of something that's not there.

Keep us posted on your progress and good luck.
