Support Abortion? Watch this video and please defend your decisions...

I was alerted to this video in my local editorials, and wanted to share this with ATS members...

How can any of you support abortion when you can see things like this?
Fast forward to minute 14-15, and tell me you can support abortion still...

Throwing propaganda at people that have actually studied and researched to form their opinion is silly and pointless.

I'm not even going to get into the technical aspects of this argument (AGAIN), as it's beating a dead horse, but coming at people with an emotionally charged argument instead of looking at facts and respecting that others might simply have a different view than you is ignorant and pathetic.

I don't have to watch a video or look at any other type of propogada to "defend" my support of a woman's right to choose.

This is a argument that isn't going to get settled on an internet message board and all this thread does it call for emotional responses to your video.

It's ignorant and pathetic to defend an un-born baby's life?

I bet you are glad that no one felt that way about you.

What science defends the horror of the pro-abortion argument?

I wont' bother watching the vid, but I will say, for people to constantly want to get into other's lives as they make their OWN decision about what is best for them or not.

Also, the judgemental BS really P OFF!!!!

so, all those "holier than thou" people out there, who want to KILL over others making a decision that affects ONLY their lives AND one they will LIVE with - no one else!

I am SICK of the "lifers" who think they are the ones who are right!!

So it is better to FORCE children upon others who are not able to handle them etc..................... so those kids can then possibly live a life of Hell?

You are attacking a woman's right to choose by exploiting the video. The right to choose and the act go hand in hand. You can't attack one without attacking the other.

I think that only one of those two have the ability to control the outcome of the other, without input from said entity. I believe that in MOST cases of abortion, the pregnancy could have been avoided.

And I have seen that in person.

Whether you like it or not, that is exactly what you are doing.

The act and the choice go hand in hand. Attack one, attack the other. Defend one, defend the other.

As it stands now in this country, women have the right to choose whether or not to continue a pregnancy. They have the right to choose to have an abortion. Hopefully, that never changes.

Well, it seems that you have chosen to stand on the side of the road with a picture of an aborted fetus.

No matter how you slice it, it is activism.

Not that there is anything wrong with that as it is your right to protest at your pleasure.

Hopefully no one will try to take that right away from you.

Im so sick of anti-abortion supporters, how dare they judge ppl and the decisions they make in life. Who the hell are they, what gives them the right?? Most of them base it on religious beliefs, I'm sure good ol' Jesus was all about calling some poor young girl a whore and a slut when she needs emotianal support probally the most in her life. Protestors should put all that energy to something good, not hate speak and forcing thier personal beliefs down someones throat.

A woman has the right to choose. The majority here believe that and no matter what kind of video you post it won't change a thing.

Do I agree with it? No, I think there is a better alternative if a mother does not want the child and that would be adoption.

I believe the only time abortion is if the pregnancy could be life threatening for the mother or if the mother has a disease that will spread to the child that is life threatening.

But these are not the laws so wave your flag, state what you believe and leave it at that. Do not charge someone to defend why they believe a certain way because you will come off as someone trying to force their beliefs on the rest.

For me, it is a larger crime to see a unprepared 15 year old girl bring a baby into the world, being still a baby herself. That child in practically 90%+ of the cases grows up without proper education, care and support and becomes just another brick in the wall of desperate children trying to survive. Ultimately leading this child down a life of crime and desperation. On top of that, the mother of the baby has had her life cut short due to the fact that she can no longer grow and have life experiences that she would have had not being strapped down by a baby. People like myself seen their mother struggle to support her children even though she was 25-30 during their childhood, just imagine if your mother was 15 when you were born. How much different would your life be right now? Imagine your mom cannot care for herself, let a lone you. Good luck in life!

No child that cannot be properly raised and cared for should be brought into this world.

As the daughter of a very prominant Pro-Life activist, I will respond.

I've seen all of these videos. At the age of 13, I held an aborted fetus in my hands so that it could be photographed.

At age 16 I found myself pregnant, and without a choice.

At the age of 32 I have 4 children.

Having been through what I've been through and having seen what I've seen, I 100% support a woman's right to choose.

The decision, if wrong, is something each woman who makes it will have to deal with between her and God.

I do not support giving the Governement ANY control over my womb! If we give them the power to say when we MUST have children, we potentially give them the power to say when we cannot have children, or how many we can have, or of what sex. Is THAT something you support?

Yes, I believe abortion is murder. I do not support women using abortion as a form of birth control. That, however, does not for one second make me support the government forcing women to have babies when and ONLY when THE WOMAN is capable.

If those who are anti abortion are trying to force their views down your throat, then the same could be said of the Pro side. After all it is your belief that a woman has that choice and it is the Pro side of things that is law.

Both sides protest vigorously for their belief. It isn't just one side cramming their views down our throats.
