Obama calls for patience over the economy in live TV question-and-answer session

dailymail.co.uk

President Obama sought to reassure a jittery American public yesterday that the troubled US economy is back on track.
In a live TV question-and-answer session at the White House, Mr Obama declared signs of progress as his administration attacks the crisis ‘on all fronts.’
Desperate to draw attention away from the firestorm over multi-million pound bonuses paid out by bailed-out AIG, the president insisted: ‘We will recover from this recession.’
‘There will be no ‘quick fixes and no silver bullets. It will take time, it will take patience and it will take an understanding that when we all work together – when each of us looks beyond our own short-term interests to the wider set of obligations we have to each other – that’s when we succeed.’

Patient for what exactly I ask? Should we be patient over a policy that is meant to devalue the dollar, hyperinflating it to the point that we will experience a Depression worse than the Great Depression of the 1930s?

That is exactly what President Obama is asking, for Americans to be patient because meanwhile we wait the bankers get richer from those investors that got out of the stock market and are now once again investing in the broken system.

If you infuse into an economy more paper money with no backing whatsoever, except empty promises, all you are doing is help to devalue that economy by hyperinflating it.

Americans soon enough, alongside other people around the world, will wake up one day not to far in the future to find themselves as poor as the people in developing countries, unless we act now and tell every one of our representatives to wake up and smell the garbage.

BTW, take a good look at this. Even though they are projecting that the economy will get better this gives an idea of where we are in point of reference from the Great Depression of the 1930s.
