Cantor: The Public Is 'Finally Waking Up' To The Fascist 'One-Party Government' In Washington D.C.

C-SPAN’s Washington Journal hosted House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) this morning. During the segment, a caller phoned in to “thank” Cantor “and [Rep.] Michele Bachmann [R-MN] and all of the conservatives that are doing such a great job.”

The caller then said it’s “insanity” that there are “people” drinking “from the kool-aid” who “seem to think that there is a magical tree of money behind Washington,” adding that the country is descending into “fascism.” In response, Cantor said the public is “finally waking up” to this and that the GOP is trying to bring President Obama “back into the mainstream”:

Who in the world would have ever thought we would see the day when such rhetoric would be tossed around frequently on a public channel in modern day U.S.A.?

We have been screaming about this fascist turn for the past couple of years, but initially people thought we were all just "paranoid conspiracy nuts".

Finally it appears the populace (through having no other CHOICE) has awoken to this reality of the "one party" special-interest-serving fascist mob that has become our gov. And now, whether inadvertantly or not, a house member ADMITS it on national TV!

One point of note: it was the caller who used the word 'facist,' not Cantor.

Otherwise, he's absolutely right. Having one-party rule, whether that's Democrats as now, or Republicans in the past, ultimately does NOT serve the best interest of the public as a whole.

Oh this is silly! How could American be a facsist state?

Everyone knows a facsist state has to have 4 cornerstones that inclued...

1. A Strong Military Industrial Complex

2. A Strong Prison Industrial Complex

3. A Strong Securtiy Industrial Complex

4. A Great Decider

??????

Oh, oops sorry. Oh this is silly why is everyone complaining we are a facsist state?

This is the current typical GOP tactic: Point fingers and shriek at the top of their shrill little voices that "somebody else" is evil for doing the EXACT SAME THING the GOP has done for nearly a decade.

Power is entirely too concentrated in the gov't, it is true. And it is a danger to what made the US the country it once was.

But for Cantor of all people to get all huffy about this is nothing short of funny.

The real silliness is in the parties themselves who actually have managed to convince themselves that they are not owned. What was that saying? "There are none so enslaved as those who falsely believe themselves to be free."

The money which makes the Democratic and Republican parties the powerhouses that they are comes from the same pocket. How can they not see this, unless their blindness is willful, in which case they are as corrupt and devoid of civic merit as most conspiracy theorists hold?

Our problem is relatively simple. You MUST be exceptionally rich, or be sponsored by the exceptionally rich, to become an elected official in this country. It was not always so.

See you next election!

This is the funniest (or perhaps not) part of this, is that he is saying these things to keep the merry-go-round, carnival-act of "blame" and misdirection going, yet inadvertantly he is actually causing he and his mob's illusion to be further exposed for what they ALL are. I have seen this as a recurring theme lately---In the midst of their ridiculous finger-pointing, these bought and paid for servants are letting slip things that expose the entire ONE party wool that has been pulled over the populace's eyes. Their shams are coming to the forefront for even the blindest to see.
