Yea good point, many of us (myself obviously included) jump that assumption and as we do continually, the words "Religion" and "Christianity" end up becoming interchangeable which is very narrow minded.

Ok, so you're gonna steal God out of Bible, steal Jesus out of the Bible, and then make a brand new religion? Smells like a cult to me. You'd have better credibility if you changed the names.

Dude,

Are you playing here? What's W have to do with heaven?

I wasn't making a connection

I was saying that your response -- that either I believe in the trinity or I don't -- is begging the question.

What kind of salvation can be effected by trusting in the Bible? It is true that "the traditions of men cannot save," but neither can the tradition of "trusting in the Bible." Scripturally speaking, we are only encouraged to trust in Jesus Christ for salvation for He is our Savior, not the Bible. The personal indwelling life of Jesus Christ alone is effective for salvation. We receive Him (Jesus) by faith, not by "trusting in the Bible."

Check out John 1 if you are concerned with your future...

"WORD!"

Is that the first book of John?

Can you quote me something from the Bible that supports this statement?
