Oh, indeed it is, to you and your criminal bankster family.

Between the propagandacon, the Bilderbergers, and Wall street thugs and thieves, the last bastion of REAL news and information---Not controlled, regurgitated kool-aid handed down from Corporate elitists----The internet IS the biggest threat to securing these power-mongering control freak's grasp on complete domination over the "little people".

It's not too hard to figure out why they would want to get control of it asap, or shut it down completely. But if Rockefeller doesn't think that anybody with half a brain can see through his transparency, PARTICULARLY while we are in the midst of being violated endlessly by his criminal cohorts in the banking industry, then he has truly underestimated the populace...

Keep an eye on these folks. A very close one...

Beautifully spoken. I'd add to this, but being this far along in the thread, it won't even be seen. So instead, I'll star your post and quote it, in hopes that everybody else who is late to this thread reads it. Well said, DD, and great topic of discussion.

Without suggesting that anyone break any copyright laws, of course, I strongly suggest that people grab whatever truth they can while they still can while the windows are still open, so to speak, and preserve it in alternate ways.

He mentions how security is threatened, how anyone could shut down power systems etc.

Disconnect them from the internet then. Nobody forced anyone to connect to the internet.

Seems simple to me unless you have multiple motives.

This guy is full of it.

Well spotted.

True, most ads are about creating a desire for a product. In the case of a new internet to replace the old, it might be something like promising higher speeds and new functionality, something very alluring.

They'll argue how it will all be more secure, more ways to detect and combat worms and viruses for example, how creditcard fraud will be impossible, how it will be impossible to create a website about glorifying Alqaida or at least be able to shut it down rightaway and track down the creators. They'll argue how it will be impossible for a 60 year old posing as a 10 year old and chatting to your kid (or at least have no problems tracking them down). They'll argue how hackers can get into your computer, steal everything you might not want the neighbours to know (medical data, debts, kinky movies)

You know you want it. Especially when the media will focus on every internet related crime for awhile, people will protest at Washington to ask for reforming the internet.

Please forgive my ignorance, is what he saying correct?

That the DoD is being cyber attacked 3 million times a day? And furthermore that its relatively easy?

I would have thought that attacking the DoD would be the LAST thing anyone would try. Mind you I aint no hacker, but come on, wouldn't the U.S military have this covered in a major way?

If what he is saying is not true, then I understand people's comments, but if what he is saying IS true, then it really could be Americas greatest weakness. So if it is true, why is everyone up in arms over Rockerfellers comments?

ok first...the DoD is getting attacked 3 mil a day, however that is the PUBLIC SITE!! they have their secrets behind massive ecryption coding strings, that run through seperate in-house lines. they are just hauling out these lame excuses of "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK, HELP US" either for more money, or more control of information.
i worked in programming for 15 years, although it's been awhile back, but i know they have hired "hack jocks" that make me look like a idiot...and yeah that's hard for me to admit...besides, the safest way to send info to someone else?? simply pick up a pen or pencil, write on a piece of paper, and send it through the mail, billions of simple envelopes go through the U. S. mail every day. however, if your already under watch, your pretty much screwed, with that too.

Five years, that's roughly how long I've gone on about the internet being censored. I've been so utterly worried about it and so have many people in the IT industry. It seems the people in that industry, of which i was a part understand more than many others the importance of the internet and we were seeing the seeds of censorship all those years ago. It started rather innocuously when businesses and universities tried to block certain sites.

The start was the blocking of pornography, that's fine i understand why they don't allow that at work and uni, but then it became slightly more insidious. I was asked at various businesses and a few other places to block certain political websites, not all the political websites, just some. This was a localised censorship, but that's how it starts.

Just look at Australia and what they have done to the internet. Don't be fooled by their seemingly good intentions ladies and gentlemen. They will tell you that they're just protecting your children from seeing pornography or stopping child abusers contacting children online. In the end though none of that can be stopped and it isn't true, it's all about filtering out the alternate news sources, anything that will give you information that your government isn't telling the whole truth will be blocked.

You waited too long when people were speaking about it, you laughed at some of us in the IT industry who saw this coming and now it's going to be hard to stop it happening.

Enjoy.

It seems to me that a fair share of the instigation has been coming from the mass media, only it was not the "faction" I was expecting to be the reason for crack downs. Between Glen Beck and the rest of the rhetoric on FOX, I would say our first enemy of peace ARE the good ol' boys and right-leaning conspiracy theorists. There may very well be a massive conspiracy seeking to limit people's rights in this country.

However, I would argue that this cabal of right-wing anti-gov't folk and racists are being stirred into a frenzy that does not show an incredible amount of analytical thought and reasoning...now THAT I'm afraid of, mostly because the few ideologues on the right are really rallying their "base".

My reasoning: Fox news is covering "tea parties" as an interesting "human-interest" story about protesters...their usual M.O. is "dissidents" when it was my side of the fence and the war and civil liberties...are these people going to be the state protesters? The ones the "government" (that they don't want, by the way) calls out to shout down the opposition? Our very own camicie nere fascists?

Can't believe a Rockefeller can speak publicly without problem. After all, they rule this country don't they?

My thoughts exactly. When you consider that the Rockefellers and Rothschilds are the very architects of the disaster that is unfolding on the world... disaster in so many forms other than total collapse of the world's financial systems. They are the designers of and the engine behind vaccinations, GMO foods that are threatening to destroy mankind's capacity to grow food, chemtrails (yes they are very real and very dangerous), eugenics.... the dark list is endless. They are planning to destroy the world as we know it and at the same time rendering themselves harmless, so that they can have it all. This is actually happening right before our eyes. The evidence is everywhere. It's blatant. It's right out in the open for us to see everyday. And yet the sheeple can't see it because of the power of the MSM (which the cabal also owns and controls completely). Really, the main stream news media should be completely destroyed and the sooner the better.

And as you point out, these black hearted pigs can appear in a television studio and walk the streets with impunity. I honestly wonder why they are still breathing.

I've often wondered if there is anybody in the world, perhaps one of the great (and yet unknown) leaders hidden in and amongst the American military who is as horrified and pissed as the rest of us. A guy who, just like us, has had enough already... and if he might have Plan A, Plan B and Plan C all lined up.

Plan A would be to exterminate this entire cabal of insane rats in one massive one week long campaign.
Plan B would be to eradicate it again.
Plan C would be to bomb the fed off the map.

If the above were to happen, I'd give him the green light on any Plan D, E, F and G he and his soldiers might have. Because by enacting plans A, B, and C, he will already have cured 99% of the pain humanity is suffering today. And he will have cured it forever.

What he is saying is NOT correct. It is not that easy to simply hack your way into networks while covering your tracks. You cannot take over the stock market nor can you take the utilities off line. These systems aren't even on the public internet. This is basic fear mongering at it's lowest level. ie: Some people have AIDS, so have sex with no one, or you could get AIDS. So lets outlaw sex, and we wont have to worry about AIDS. Its simply not true.

What is defined as an attack? Pressing refresh too often on your browser? Scanning an IP range? We don't hear what is being considered an attack by this guy, nor do we have ANY proof that this is even happening. Just his word, which I personally give little to zero credibility. If groups like whitehouse.gov can be taken out by a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack, then the DOD can also be. Simply put a denial of service, meaning you are denied access to a service that you request is NOT a hack.

Probes for root access via ssh, brute forcing an ftp server, sure..they might be considered attempts, trolls or scripts looking for website exploits from your lame joomla/drupla/post nuke/dot net nuke site, not really a hack, until they get in. Here is a simple way to avoid being hacked. DON'T USE MS SERVERS FOR REAL WORLD WORK.

This video is a far better example of the lack of real world information available to the government, than it is about any real threat. I shudder when I think that this guy (rockafeller) really believes what he's saying.

Thanks for reading.

Yes, the internet is a hazard for authorities. If you want to know the real reason, read articles about "hacker-ethic" and the hacker-howto.

There is a workaround for inet-censorship: USE DIFFERENT DNS-SERVERS (like 195.34.133.21). Do it and you will find out that censorship is no longer working for you
.

If you don't want to get spied on by authorities, throw away your M$ and use Linux or BSD instead. Even the NSA does and they are providing free Sec-modules for the Linux-kernel to be used by you
.

I am firmly against internet censorship.

It is prudent, however, for one to remember that sources of 'information' on the net can be as biased, misleading and downright inaccurate as any on the 'msm'. Arguably, in fact, no greater instrument for propaganda and fear-mongering has ever been created than the internet.

How simple would it be for these 'powers that be' to simply hire shills and hacks to post every 2nd or 3rd youtube video or wiki article in order to sway popular thought and opinion? Pretty damned easy.

Just something to consider.

Sooo Much Truth Here in this Thread - I cannot give out enough Stars!

I think the thing we our forgetting tho - is they don't hate the Internet - or they would have stopped it long ago!

The Internet IS their End Game for controlling every aspect of every citizen's life - it IS the complete Realization of Orwell's Two Way Telescreen!

What they hate is how The People have compromised the Internet - and in many ways - without significant Profit Motive - have created an eleborate system of reporting on and monitoring the true Political Rulers of this Planet!

(it is a tactical weakness of theirs that they have a hard time understanding and anticipating Open Source and other Truth Movements that actually are driven by altruism more than any self serving agenda)

Don't worry however - their vicious Rhetoric and Fearmongering against the Internet will help pave the way for the corrected Internet Two - a fully Centralized Internet model that will better filter out the collective Voice of The People!

(I still believe they underestimate us - becuase they simply can't understand our love of Freedom - but if we do not stop this consolidation of Internet Power it will be a blow to all we have already accomplished!)

Let us be ever Vigilant!

Because terrifying us so that they can take away freedoms is a tactic the PTB use all the time.

Because the "3 million attacks a day" could be random silly stuff? My firewall used to make it sound like I was under constant attack too. I wasnt. I have never been hacked, with or without a firewall. And, like others have said, take your critical systems off line. Make a dedicated system for the most critical things. A private internet that only connects certain select people.

The 3 million attacks a day could be from some programmer who is trying to justify his job for all we know.

We can all be perfectly safe if we make a bunch of cages and lock everyone in them. Nothing could get in, no one could get out, no one could hack anything. We need to question how much we really want safety over living. Life is risky. And we are all going to die someday, of some thing. We just need to get used to that idea and stop acting like we can prevent that.
