Air Force Reports From the 1940's

I have read a few United States Air Force reports and documents from the 1940's. They talk about the Air Force not beng able to identify flying objects which were being seen. The objects traveled and maneuvered at speeds impossible for the aircraft at that time. Aircraft such as this could be attributed to technology uknown to the general public in our world today, but not 60 years ago. This proves to me that the ufos seen then were not made by man. Who created these unidentified vehicles? Did extraterrestrials from millions of miles away create them? Maybe these ufos are always around us, popping in and out of our dimension. They could be just a flip of a switch away from us. Extraterrestrials are always described and portrayed as looking so different from us. Maybe ufo's are occupied by human beings from far away. Perhaps they are keeping an eye on Earth so they can learn from our mistakes. They dont reveal themselves to us because they dont want to get involved in the mess we have created.
