3 officers dead, suspect killed in Oakland, Calif.

I thought he used a pistol during the initial traffic stop.
Oh well, either way he shot two of them there.

If I were going out in a "blaze of glory" against SWAT and I was holed up in a building, I'd want a 12 guage.

Twelve gauge, huh? Auto, or pump? Bird or buck? Or ultra-nasty, with the barrel filled with shrap and broken glass fragments, and excrement? just kiddin. (don't forget the body armor if ya gonna play with guns)!

If I were up against modern-day SWAT, I think I'd call it a day, and just invite them in for a cup of coffee!

Well, to be most effective you would have to choose your type of weapon and rounds of choice depending on your surroundings. A pump action with birdshot would do alright if you were in a very small room.

But I agree that I would likely just let them come in without a fight.
