Working in the media I always look at advertisements and laugh at the correlation between current events and their impact on advertising.

I saw a commercial today that featured a guy trying to get people to buy a Chrysler. He spoke of "hard times" "commitment" "special financing". He was every bit the used car salesman our mother told us to run from.
