Quote: The 50ft long Jurassic era marine reptile had a crushing 33,000lbs per square inch bite force, the Natural History Museum of Oslo University said of the new find on the Norwegian Arctic archipelago of Svalbard.

"With a skull that's more than 10 feet long you'd expect the bite to be powerful but this is off the scale," said Joern Hurum, an associate professor of vertebrate paleontology at the museum who led the international excavation in 2008

Apparently "predator X" could crush a car with its bite!!

This thing sounds very interesting, wouldn't you agree?

The top predator of the land and sea would be us.

Haha yes I suppose you are right if you talk statistically but this prehistoric beast would "kick our butt" if we had no tools.

There's been many discoveries that aren't well known, like T-Rex Imperator, found in the late 1990s. It may be 15-20% bigger than any other T-rex! But the bones haven't been prepared and studied, making it's validity questionable.

History Channel reenacted the kill sequence of this mighty beast. That was an awesome sight. It could easily swallow a man whole, and would of snacked on great white sharks. Here are some facts from the History Channel:

With jaws that powerful, Predator X could make a meal out of any creature. No matter how heavily armored it is. I wonder if it would swallow the bones of its prey as well as the flesh.

just guessing here, but I suspect that it would depend largely upon how large the prey item was...

That critter was one impressive eatin' machine.

Alligators and snakes swallow the bones, so it would not be difficult for Predator X to swallow and digest the bones. I think they look at how similar animals eat today to figure out how the dinosaurs did it. Not much evolving needed for eating.
