their engines. That much polution (enough to 'fog' a clear day) is atleast as scary as the prospects of being 'chemmed'.
Then they should be looking in to banning clouds also. Its water, jet engines pump out tons of water vapor as they fly around. Like any engine that
burns hydrocarbons, H2O is one of the largest (
the largest I think?) components of the exhaust.
All that water has to go somewhere, if the conditions are good for clouds to form, it'll just become a cloud. As the plane pumps it out while flying
in a line, the cloud will form in a line. Lots of planes with the right conditions, and it can build up quite a bit of highlevel cloud. There are some
concerns about how much this manmade cloud cover is changing the climate in areas under heavy flight paths. I think NASA is doing a study on this at
present?
