Interesting...
Just curious but where were those "patriots" when bush was shredding our Constitution and invading iraq using false intelligence???
I think these "patriots" are really just opportunist, neo-cons who have absolutely no interest in protecting our country.
It never ceases to amaze me about how the good of the nation for so many people revolves around the love of one personality versus the good of the nation.
I imagine the aforementioned Republicans were also not where it might have behooved us all when Vice President Agnew was heading to Federal Prison and it took a Presidential Pardon to keep Richard Nixon out of Federal Prison.
The point my friend is President Obama is not interested or taking steps to restore the Constitution that Bush shredded nor is hardly anyone in congress either. one Republican, Ron Paul, one Democrat Dennis Kaszinich appear to be about the only honest politicians in Washington that even pay lip service to the actual American people.
How are we ever going to move ahead in these divide and conquer political parties and personality wars when the people themselves are prepared to ignore everything and excuse everything because what some other incompetent corrupt fool did and got away with.
In a democracy ultimately its up to the people to decide when enough is enough and what ever Bush did, doesn't excuse what Obama isn't doing.
Even if, as you wish to believe Obama is the third honest man to arrive in Washington one honest man at the head of a corrupted and bloated wasteful and inefficient system is not going to change a government that has just grown worse and worse and more and more wasteful and more and more invasive and larger and larger and more and more corrupt since 1929 with millions of Federal Employees in 667 Departments and Agencies that are beyond one man's ability to supervise or control regardless of how good his intentions might be.
I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat, I was not a fan of George Bush nor am I a fan of Obama. I am a concerned citizen appalled by a system that has become so corrupt that it does not even attempt to hide it's blatant thefts and lies to it's citizens or feel and believe that the citizens can prevent them from doing whatever they want.
I think the problems that plague this nation are more important than love and affiliation and loyalty to one man or one party.
Like it or not my friend, the Congress itself had no adequate time to study the obscene uses of money being dolled out like candy in the last bail out plan and Obama himself broke his own promise to give Americans 5 days internet access to Bills and Laws before he signed them.
Improving the Nation's well being and ensuring it was never meant to be tied to the blind idol worship of one man, and the nation's systematic destruction was never meant to be justified because of the incompetence and corruption of someone no longer in office.
The election is over my friend. President Obama knew the challenges he was facing and wanted the job and insisted he would be the most capable of handling the job and bringing change.
Spare change for the citizens and billions for corporate criminals and the world's wealthiest elites who profit from and own these corrupt criminal enterprises wasn't the change you seriously had in mind was it?
