Interesting...
Just curious but where were those "patriots" when bush was shredding our Constitution and invading iraq using false intelligence???

I think these "patriots" are really just opportunist, neo-cons who have absolutely no interest in protecting our country.

It never ceases to amaze me about how the good of the nation for so many people revolves around the love of one personality versus the good of the nation.

I imagine the aforementioned Republicans were also not where it might have behooved us all when Vice President Agnew was heading to Federal Prison and it took a Presidential Pardon to keep Richard Nixon out of Federal Prison.

The point my friend is President Obama is not interested or taking steps to restore the Constitution that Bush shredded nor is hardly anyone in congress either. one Republican, Ron Paul, one Democrat Dennis Kaszinich appear to be about the only honest politicians in Washington that even pay lip service to the actual American people.

How are we ever going to move ahead in these divide and conquer political parties and personality wars when the people themselves are prepared to ignore everything and excuse everything because what some other incompetent corrupt fool did and got away with.

In a democracy ultimately its up to the people to decide when enough is enough and what ever Bush did, doesn't excuse what Obama isn't doing.

Even if, as you wish to believe Obama is the third honest man to arrive in Washington one honest man at the head of a corrupted and bloated wasteful and inefficient system is not going to change a government that has just grown worse and worse and more and more wasteful and more and more invasive and larger and larger and more and more corrupt since 1929 with millions of Federal Employees in 667 Departments and Agencies that are beyond one man's ability to supervise or control regardless of how good his intentions might be.

I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat, I was not a fan of George Bush nor am I a fan of Obama. I am a concerned citizen appalled by a system that has become so corrupt that it does not even attempt to hide it's blatant thefts and lies to it's citizens or feel and believe that the citizens can prevent them from doing whatever they want.

I think the problems that plague this nation are more important than love and affiliation and loyalty to one man or one party.

Like it or not my friend, the Congress itself had no adequate time to study the obscene uses of money being dolled out like candy in the last bail out plan and Obama himself broke his own promise to give Americans 5 days internet access to Bills and Laws before he signed them.

Improving the Nation's well being and ensuring it was never meant to be tied to the blind idol worship of one man, and the nation's systematic destruction was never meant to be justified because of the incompetence and corruption of someone no longer in office.

The election is over my friend. President Obama knew the challenges he was facing and wanted the job and insisted he would be the most capable of handling the job and bringing change.

Spare change for the citizens and billions for corporate criminals and the world's wealthiest elites who profit from and own these corrupt criminal enterprises wasn't the change you seriously had in mind was it?

Seriously, do you know what would of happened if they hadn't done something? Do you realize how many more people would of lost their houses?

Would actually be the same number because they did not use the money to save houses, they said they were using it to promote more loans and spending.

Even if the banks collapsed who would take the houses then? There would be no one to reposes them if the bank that held the loan collapsed.

In the end it was a way for the govt. to keep control of the masses and keep from falling which very likely would have happened without the bailout's.

But as for helping the people, well it didn't they are foreclosing on the houses everyday. Meanwhile the bailout money has been sent to invest in international banks over sea's and also in the beginning used to pad the pocket books of some folks who are convinced we are fighting a lost cause.

IMO, these demonstrative tea parties are a bad idea... Its not the same world it was during the days of the revolution.

Back then, you could organize people to do 'sabotage' raids, and unless you had a rat, your plans would remain secret. Not anymore.

You have to consider the differences in technology. A group these days is more identifiable, unless you all wear face masks - but then you draw negative attention. In a public demonstration, no less in a high security area (the white house), your going to have security and surveillance on you. At this point, even if it's a peaceful demonstration, your going to be viewed as someone who is willing to make a move. At that point, they have the upper hand.

The only successful method against a larger and more technologically advanced foe is the guerrilla fighter - more commonly known as Special Operation Forces. But, when we think of taking serious action in present day time, most people have the thought of martial law. Most will agree that inevitably, it will happen - whether we cause it or we let it happen. SOF (special operation forces) rely on concealment and hit and run tactics. When fighting a larger force, you have a small window before reinforcements arrive. If your not gone before then, your in trouble cause your out-gunned.

Guerrilla tactics have there own set of problems. The effectiveness of small teams against larger forces depends on training - which is quiet steep.

Unfortunately, what it boils down to in the end is protecting yourself and your family (your household), and helping other households prepare for themselves. The biggest downfall of modern society is its dependency on centralized systems. The only way to break away from this is to become self sustainable - and in our modern world, it can sometimes compare to wilderness survival or ancient ways of living. Our quality of life is going to change one way or the other. The primary purpose of military training is to present above average difficult, stressful tasks to the soldier, so that in a rear situation (that perhaps is not as stressful) the soldier can react immediately to a situation. We should prepare ourselves while we are still comfortable.

The definition of a 'terrorist' is become even more vague as time goes on. Don't make yourself a target! Then again, those who oppose what is happening will eventually be 'targets'.

Being the opposition has its responsibilities, demands, and risks. If you take action, action will be taken upon you. EVERY ACTION HAS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION.

Exaclty what did happen - nothing!

What would "of" happened?

We'd have $1.7 Trillion dollars to give directly to homeowners and buyers.

The bailouts and stimulus programs have saved ZERO homes from foreclosure.

Bailout money went strictly to financial institutions to improve their balance sheets.

Thank you. Also According to BloomBerg I will have to pay back at least $2500 of money that I did not recieve but was given to the Banks which I do not use. This money does nothing to help the people this is money taken from the people to help Banks who caused the problem anyway.

Is this the great TRANSFER OF WEALTH that I heard about?

Borrow my money from the, for profit Federal Reserve corporation, and without asking.
Give that money to the Banks.
Force me to pay back the loan at interest and no less than $2500?

HUH????

I wish I was a bank

P.S. Read the Bloomberg link

It's not your "God given right" to own a home

No, but it is my 'God given right' to live where I want to live, which obviously implies that as a responsible human being I won't live where I infringe on some other humans living space. I was born on this planet, I'm entitled to a piece of it and to the resources I can provide myself with. Those are the most basic and fundamental freedoms every human should have. Which were stripped away a long time ago.

Property, borders, money and the concept of rights are man-made ideals controlled by governments, broadly defining government as anyone who owns property, levies taxes on it and thereby 'governs' the land. Which is why I find it almost laughable when people cry out that 'their' money is being spent.

That isn't to say I have any support for the current scheme, but the fact is I still have to live even if the US dollar gets used for toilet paper in the near future. The focus on where the money is going is misdirection and sleight of hand trickery.

Given the fact that our government is out of control, we are 2 trillion dollars deeper in the hole than we were 6 months ago, and the fact that Obama is now talking about stimulus bill two and TARP 3, I am surprised that there is any tea left in this country.

I will be joining the movement as soon as I can find the nearest protest.

I can see why! We are being robbed - and "THEY" know it!

Where is that new transparency Obama promised! How about starting with the debt they created for our children with the TRILLIONS in banker bailouts that has had zero accountability - while the rich party it up on our tax dollars and get their bonuses!

How about the "TAX LAW"

Show me the law.

I have read about Joe Bannister "former audit officer" and he was let go for asking questions like where is the law.

No law

I have seen good 'ol American's like Ed and Elaine brown of New Hampshire and their friends who supported them, like Dan Riley who was shot at by Federal agents and who I might add was unarmed sent to some Federal prison for 30+ years just for proclaiming they are Statesmen and that the tax laws which were "Never" properly ratified by all necessary states is legal. That original law was meant for the district of Columbia and importing businesses only! Not the Stateman!

Ask Ron Paul - an American Senator where the law is!

Well, tomorrow my Mom who is a Mormon and has never even received a parking/speeding ticket in her entire life is being audited by the Federal Government.

She is 70 years old and when divorced worked two jobs to get me through life. She because of ailments and life needs took her retirement plan out early. But because the "FED" thought they didn't get enough, tomorrow they are coming to her house to take anything of value!

So here is my Mom who is 70 and worked her fingers to the bone getting robbed by these very same Bass Turds that gave everyone in California a IOU for their tax return taking everything that is left of any value that my 70+ mother and Step-Father worked for.

Isn't it funny how that works, if you owe money they want it right now and intimidate you with guns and prison terms, but if they owe you money they come to your house, inventory everything and take what they want.

So my favorite CONSPIRACY theory is that there is a valid tax law for the Fed's to strip a 70 year old woman of her hard earned life!

This World is corrupt by greedy and evil men - using a gun to get their point across!

When does it end?

Why did we leave and fight Britain again? Can someone tell me that! Wasn't there something called taxation without representation and a Boston Tea Party?

Because here we are agiain and these same bloodlines have just robbed our Country blind to make every citizen dependent on them again!

Revolution II

Does anyone love and believe in this Nation anymore? Does anyone in Washington D.C. really care about "US" the people!

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. When I was in High School my mom got audited three years in a row. She was a waitress and she never made more than 10k in a single year up to that point. This was the late 70's and we were dirt poor. I worked a job most of the time that I was in school and I used that money for clothes, gas money, dates, etc. I managed to save enough for college.

Anyway, Uncle Sugar thought that my mom should be paying more in taxes. Finally, one of my mom's customers who was a lawyer took her case up probono. He showed up at the audit with my mom and her tax records and he shamed the auditor. After that the IRS left her alone.

My experience with the IRS is that they pick on people that can't afford legal representation. They bully these poor people and intimidate them into going along. If someone can afford a lawyer and is willing to fight, they back down and leave them alone. The exception to this is anyone who publicly refuses to pay taxes or encourages others not to. They go after them to "make an example".

Point taken but this is the society that we survive in. I don't want to debate about what money is because I believe we would agree, however we both need money to succefully get along in this society so In responce to the section I added bold tags to.

Yes, MY Money!! It becomes my money when I am responsible for paying it back.
I would have much prefered a $2500 check for my share, and I would "stimulated" the economy with it.

I agree with the "tea parties " and all the patriotic people trying to tell washington what they think and how they feel , But is anyone listening ?
Here's my point; so we get several million people to stomp and march around Washington . The idiots in the White House and the Capitol are just going to say something to the effect ; " Let 'em march and yell and stomp their little feet . They'll get tired and go home then we'll just carry on as planned ,nothing they can do to stop us . just ignore them ."
I've been sending letters , making phone calls , e-mails etc.etc. for a long time now . I stopped not too long ago when I got a thank-you letter from a senator for calling him an idiot and accused him for working for the party and not for us. Now where do I go ?

It is time for more than a few million citizens marching, and I would lay my life on the line to give my children a better future!

I think it is time for America to take back America!

I think we would likely agree. And I understand your point of view. Fact is, I enjoy many of the perks offered by the society that we live in. But there comes a point when I realized that just because they made the game doesn't mean I have to play. What I think that means ultimately comes down to individual choice.

But I guess I'm wondering why people are fighting so hard to reinstate a system, or perceiving to reinstate which I don't want to debate right now either, that has obviously failed. A system which has cost them so much.

Perhaps it's time to change the whole game and not just the rules we're playing by.

i woulda asked why the government isnt taking any gold out of fort knox to sell it to cover some of the bailouts.

after some research tonite i found out there isnt any gold there.(note they do report that is still some there but theres never been an recent audit)-whats that tell you

the greatest bank job in the history of the world is the robbery of fort knox.

this is news to me cause i was under the assumption that gold at fort knox was there to secure us debt.

at one point in history the us held 70% of the world gold

either fdr, truman or johnson spent over 500 million ounces.

fdr and truman were the only 2 presidents to have ever visted fort knox

instead of wasting trillions of dollars on bailouts i want the fed to start adding to the gold reserve much like to the fed oil reserve.

that way we can kick china or japan to the curb and not be so dependent on foreign countries buying us debt.

maybe its a lame idea but it just hit me.

The largest gold deposit in the world is actually in New York City! It's true, it's under the Federal Reserve Bank. This depository contains a significant portion of the US supply of gold and the gold of other nations.

International transactions are conducted in gold, and when one country buys something big from another, they call the Federal Reserve Bank and they move the gold from one stack to another for a buck!

Here's a link, www.nytimes.com/2007/10/31/nyregion/31gold

The point, I think, is visibility and undeniability.

MSM and Obama's sheep see nothing wrong in what is happening.

If enough people in enough places make themselves and their positions known, it won't matter that our "representatives" don't.

It will give confidence who oppose but are afraid to say so. It will make the sheer numbers plain and the voices audible.

MSM will take note or disappear.

(side note, now Pelosi is asking for federal intervention to save her beloved liberal press/mouthpieces who are folding as we speak, leaving print and going dark or online-only--next, she'll ask talk radio to be silent or subsidize the Times/Tribune/Post et al)

deny ignorance together
