Obama will try to block executive bonuses at AIG

news.yahoo.com...

I thought that the verb "try" doesn't exist in the White House dictionary for the reason of being pasted over by two words: "executive" and "power." BUT . . .

"It's hard to understand how derivative traders at AIG warranted any bonuses, much less $165 million in extra pay," Obama said at the outset of an appearance to announce help for small businesses hurt by the deep recession.

I don't think that's too hard to figure that out. Welcome to America, Barack.

So the prez will try to put his hand on the off-limit stack. But that would take an eraser, the Wall St. dictionary and some time to find the word "derivatives" right after removing the banks from the list of deities. BUT . . .

Banks are like women. How does the saying go?
