War of words between Israel and Turkey sparks formal complaint

edition.cnn.com

ISTANBUL, Turkey (CNN) -- Turkey's Foreign Ministry summoned Israel's ambassador to the Turkish capital of Ankara on Saturday to issue a formal complaint over a top Israeli commander's reported remarks criticizing Turkey.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan leaves the stage at a conference last month as Shimon Peres sits, left.

The complaint is part of the escalating war of words between the two regional allies, stemming from Turkey's outspoken criticism of the recent conflict in Gaza.

According to the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz, Maj. Gen. Avi Mizrahi told an international conference that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan should "look in the mirror" before criticizing Israel.

turkey has been bagging Isreal for doing so much badness in Gaza. so Isreal's top end commander tells em' to bag it and gag it, effectively. Not surpising considering they Turks told Prime Minister of Isreal he "kills children on the beaches".

Turkey is currently in their own conflict with the Kurdish rebel group PKK. Recently bombing suspected rebel camps, the turkish forces were also suspected of atrocities involving kurdish civilians and acid pits in skirmished on the Iraqi border last year.

I think there is more to this situation than meets the eye. Unlike Israel, Turkey is an ancient an powerful country that was recently offended by the gratuitous actions in Gaza. Bringing up the Kurdish conflict is a side issue and has no direct bearing on the 'war of words'. The fact is, Turks and Kurds are kith and kin and are both Turkamen of the Caucasus.

What has irritated the heck out of the Turks is Israeli mossad making links with the PKK, arming them and stoking the flames of war. More interestingly, Turkey recently unravelled a plot by mossad agent Daniel Levi aka Daniel Guney aka Tuncay Guney who was instigating a coup d'etat using the Turkish mafia and the Nato established cold war resistance army known as 'Deep Government'. There is an international arrest warrant for Daniel Levi who is currently holed up in a Canadian yeshiva.

The bottom line is that Turkey is disgusted by what Israeli did in Gaza and furious at the attempted infiltration and mayhem planned by mossad in their country.

What Turkey does with the PKK is nothing like what Israel does to the Palestinians. Kurds not attacking the government or the integrity of their country live a peaceful and prosperous life as Turkish citizens with full rights and they do not get their homes demolished or their land stolen.

Acid pits, well that's just theatrical verbiage; doesn't happen and there is no such thing.
