The name JIMSIM in google earth..who is it & why is it there?

It clearly say's JIMSIM maybe a letter before it.

No idea where it is in the world...But it says it.

any idea's what it is suppose to imply?

I find it odd is all...but if they went to all the trouble to make JIMSIM wrote so big you can read it from space...Something need's looked into.

Not to mention i think it's russia but not for sure.
So why is it wrote in english? lol

looked like letters but the image was too blurry to make out if there were actually letters and could not make out what it said although jimsim was a possibitity. Is there a better, clearer image?

I used google earth 5.0.

I will see if i can use another program to pull some other picture out of it.

That's pretty trippy.It does look like writing but I have no clue as to what it can be. It's in the mountains in Russia.

I was zooming around and happen to see it.

I got no idea what other software to use to view the earth and what not.

I couldn't get jimsim out of it. All I got was an LE IMS

THIS new upload a picture is confusing me

I inverted it and flipped it 180. I dont know the letters but its a different approach.

Wonder why more people haven't attempted to figure this out yet?

Ive tried to clear it up but i suck at photo clean up atm lol

has anyone tried the microsoft earth program? And speaking of.. how come google earth still doesn't have my house on it after 2 and a half years? How often is it updated?

Its not a word. Jimsim has no definition that I can recall.

So the question becomes:

Whats the odds that 6 or 7 things could appear to be something else when photographed from space?

I had the coordinates from the above. I didn't know how to search by coordinates in windows live search. How do you do that? Does that bring up the same exact image as google earth or is slightly different or filmed on a different day with different lighting or cloud cover. If so can you post a side by side image? If not just tell me to screw off! lol

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. Live maps is difficult but I found by much trial and error this link but it isnt very clear and I couldnt zoom in any further than 1.5kms.
