ATS'ers.

Just been listening to a local talk radio station where they have been talking about orange lights over Liverpool, that they can see. I'm in St Helens - about 15 miles away so can't see anything. Are there any ATSers in Liverpool who can confirm these lights?

I'm about to email the station to ask for pics that they allegedly have so that I can post them here?

I'm on to this now. More details to follow as I get them.

Keeping an open mind here. May be chinese laterns.

Peace,

MGGG

Edit to add: email sent - just sitting, waiting and watching the inbox whilst listening.

The radio station is at www.citytalk.fm

The host has just said it it is definitely NOT a plane.

Someone suggested it was an Easyjet plane lit up with it's orange livery but he discounted that immediately.

Still no reply on the email but he says he has a pic of it now.

Here's hoping.

Anyone else hearing anything about this?

Peace,

MGGG

Interesting stuff, As this would not be the first time orange lights have been seen over parts of Liverpool,

It could also be lanterns as there has been a few St paddy's day parties this weekend,

Let us know if you here anything more!

lol Way to go for the ATSplug

Perhaps there is a webcam or something available of the Liverpool sky? That would help if possible.

Okay, now we need a general direction and location of where in Liverpool the pic was taken.

I quite agree, but it's a live phone in show and I think I'm lucky to get the pic at all. I'll try to find out though!

Don't want to get put on the email block list.

If we come up with any ideas here, I'm happy to ring in and try to find out.

It seems so very bright to me indeed.

Peace,

MGGG

What is that ???

There have been a lot of sightings in and around Liverpool recently.

Regarding the location.

It is Norris Green.

North Liverpool.

Still no idea on direction though.

Let's just hope that someone didn't get drunk and took a photo of the street lights.
Anyways, keep the details coming MGG.

There seem to be two of them - one less bright than the other.

The image has pixelated a lot when I uploaded it - it's far sharper on the one i got through on my email.

If you look at the pic posted in Pete Prices page on citytalk you can see both of the lights better.

The pic posted inverted colors.

Interesting with inverted colours. Someone called in to say they are triangular - that may well rule out chinese lanterns as I believe they are square - I think LOL.

It's very strange indeed.

Just need more info. Pity there's no reference in the shot and I can't get any exif data from the image.

Someone has just said that lights went out - he saw them...claims they were spherical too.

Makes me think some more that they were chinese lanterns now!

Anyone think any different?
