BIAD is quite a busy guy -- haven't had a chance to revew his complete CV files yet, but they're on my desk.

DON'T FORGET!!! If the dress isn't returned to BIAD, then is

Nice one, BIAD....okay. Ernie and Sslar see BIAD, Dag, and Adam? Or three actual U-mans?
Cause, they would remember BIAD and Dag who aren't human. Right?

Yeah... I was thinking, and that's a feat (Feet again?!)... in it's self!

How would you feel if Dag suddenly came across semi-naked bearded men and
nubile blond-haired half-nude women racing past her and then... as saddled-horses
barged past her, she decided to run back fro help -only to be caught in a net!

Looking across to another netted being -she sees Neno laying on the ground with
a raging face. "Get your dirty-paws off me, you stinking Ape!" he growls and Dag
suddenly realises the 'when' of Earth.

uh, it's quite a lot!! wow, i wasn't sure what she was gonna find...so, we have "savages" racing around on saddled horses with nets?? And sees neno stuck in one??
That's awfully quick to wrap up the suspense; but I've figured out you like to get it over with rather than dragging it all out with cliffhanging posts....LOL

I was thinking more she might get abducted by someone interested in collecting girls, considering it's been pointed out that they're scarce.

BUT, if we go there, and she gets abducted, I get to write the scenes with her reactions to it...

EDIT: i dunno. i guess I'm thinking if we each focus on just our own characters for a bit, we can get to know each other better, drag out the suspense factor, keep our numerous readers hanging on....
and add in some quite remarkable story bits -- building character, building on relationships, exposing weaknesses or strengths....

but, that's just my style.
if we all agree to just cut to the chase, well, then we can.

I was honestly hoping I could write up a few posts without worrying if they'd be irrelevant by the time I hit "send". Also, it might give everyone a chance to come up with new NPCs (this Pa guy and Boy, for example);

can get the story rolling!

I don't think you have to plagiarize at all.
We're on earth after a major BOOM.
Back to the 'good old days' of the wild wild west. Horses. Hermaphrodite/Wild (sterile) women doing the Cancan.
Childbearing chickies are at a premium and men will shoot to keep them.
So are kids.
Etc.

As long as you don't toss in the whole beach scene and Lady Liberty up to her armpit in sludge you've got it made!

Edit to add: I was just thinking. My example sounds like plagiarizing 'A Hand Maid's Tale'...

ack. guys, I've run out of steam for today....
I DO want to write a scene regarding Adam and BIAD while Dag is out of earshot....and like the idea of her getting abducted...but maybe we can wait to reveal by whom?

And I think it's too soon to find neno ....
I think we could do some kickass drama-building, with separate "dilemmas" for our little diaspora...and then all come together eventually again.

My thought for the Planet of the Apes thing...if you wanna do that, BIAD, then DO IT! But don't drag Adam and Dag into it quite yet...kay??
Maybe BIAD and Tibbs and Muckles? And the others are caught up their own dramas??

You know, the cavalry arrives at the last minute for everyone?!! That kind of thing.

Hi all...
I've posted to the Opera...just FYI so we're all caught up.

I'm getting the vibe that Silo is NOT in the same area as Dag & co. But Neno, Tibbs and Muckles are. Correct?

Dag has now been abducted, but we don't know by whom. Adam has wandered off to find her, and BIAD is tending the fire and enjoying the great out-of-doors.

I'll toy around with what happened to Dag and post it, but she's gonna be AWOL for a bit...so, no spoiling it, please !! Go ahead with your stuff, and if she shows up, she shows up...as for Adam, he's gonna be with BIAD for a bit. And tense...
