A throw back if you will.
You should see his boss though, Tentacles-Galore!

I just need him more *3-D*.
Will look on the internet for a program to help.

Anyone any ideas a good 3-D rendering program besides Bryce?

As bad as I want to write a post right now I can't. I'm up to my ass in alligators on the job and might not get the time for a while. Just assume badgers guys are out there doing whatever you need for the next day or two and I'll write when I can.

Huh? neno in charge of even more stuff? Wait a minute, I don't think I thought that all the way through...

Does this logically put Asher in charge of all UEF weapons systems? I can see a bad moon rising THERE...

On the positive side, those claw-ships wouldn't have a chance, assuming we can hold off killing OURSELVES off..

Cim - glad you like him.
He's a lovable big lug huh.
I found the base body on line but have completely morphed the face and legs and belly.
Now I just need to make sure I can make him look like he could be on Ship and not just a 2D being.



Edit: I just read the Antar post, we must have posted about the same time.

So what's up with that?

And no word here in the working thread?

Does that mean she's out or still in? Have you heard?

I got a U2U but it didn't make it clear if she was gone or what???

Do you already have a model built to render?

Here are some free modelling programs:

Accutrans 3D

Google Sketchup

PovRay

Plant Studio

Blender (probably the best for this purpose)

All these have pretty steep learning curves, at least for me. I usually have to bumble around in them and get stuff done by accident. There must be a better way...

Yeah, all I told you in u2u was what a delight is has been to catch up and read the story of earth and how I liked both yours and cins posts.

I figure you guys are creating the story from the Yydryls prospective, so I will wait to join back in, gave me an out until you guys get things up and running the way you want.

My interests were mostly about connecting with the Pen and about what is happening in the outerverse... felt like my input only caused problems so backed out for a while.

Also u2ued you yesterday and got no real response back so figured it was not something you wanted to collaborate with, my return that is to the story.

Antar, do you want me to send the whales back to Earth?
If so when you are back in the RB, I will come and give you the means,
if not fine, I will be off. I also wanted to connect with the Pen but it did not seem to happen. Where are your pals Myth and Keeper? Are they still with us?

They must return to earth, they are the key to earths survival from the dark Lords evil plan to kill all life forms utilizing the gamma ray burst or what ever they are from the big rip.

With all the crew dissapearances I really dont know what to think so that was why I placed myself in cold storage for a bit to see what the ship is going to be once you guys are done revamping her.

I suppose once I do return it will be like an endless walk through different terrains trying to find the RB, lol.

In the meantime does ship not have any clues as to where her crewmembers are?

If she is as enterprising and sharp as has been written then she would be concerned right?

Seems she is more focused on you and silo and your mission to earth, so that must play into the loss of all under her command at some point.

What if both you and silo dissapear too? Will the Yydryl then be the sole character left being brought to life by any of us who wish to post?

I think that the Pen is doing a fine collboration btw, and could use some basic alien technology to keep her up and running at maximum.

One other thing remember in the begining of the thread we were to heed the warnings from Nature? That was never done and for me it is a very loose end which needs addressing now that we have established the main characters personalities.

There is a huge threat from deep space right?

Also I am not sure about Keeper and Myth, I would hope that Myth could come and rescue me, lol.

This dark grey tunnel I have landed in is a holding place, but I am not sure who has placed me there and if perhaps this is where the others who have dissapeared are as well.

I am going to get a bit creepy in this tunnel, it is not going to be a benevolent place. More like Dulce underground base during a nightmare.

It is going to take an outside source to get me out at some point.

I think it was the responsibility of the people that left to explain where they went, not me. I want to have fun and not clean up the story mess they made by leaving.

I would be happy to assist you in any way you wish but the whales have not spoken to me. They spoke to you and now you are missing. My character has things to do in other times and places.

I had a great idea, with you, the whales, ancient Atlantis and it would tie into the rift and stuff but.........

Let me know if you need to be rescued, if not I will look forward to your post from cold storage.

Yeah, it appears that part of it just ate the Earth. I'm guessing at this point, but they could be fleeing from the menace in "deeper" space, and looking to conquer a ready-made empire as their new home...

Is there some way that the whales returning to Earth's past could collaborate in changing the historical 'timeline', so that Earth winds up not being eaten by the big, bad, ugly Ophiuchis? Wouldn't want to return them to the mess that's been made of it currently, in this timeline...

Shouldn't we all have a say in a character like Earth. I am not to happy about that.
