What makes Cindy think we would be hostile?
Who knows we could have a good meeting while the P repairs and refits.
Then we could finally have the great meeting/battle to save the universe against a common foe.

ok, after talking with a friend, it was decided that the textures were too "busy" so I've re-textured parts to somewhere inbetween the two extremes. I hope that you like it.

Yes, thank you - I shot you a U2U back.

I'm going to try to download again tomorrow morning.
When I try to download it's telling me I've got almost an hour wait to get it all and well, that makes me kind of nervous.
I have to admit I've never ever had a problem with CNET so it should be ok, but I'll still wait until tomorrow morning.

To be honest, nearly all they've seen out of us is invasion, death, and destruction. The only one they've had civil relations with is Asher, our stone COLDEST killer! They have no idea he's the weapons officer that zaps threats on sight, and that Studious is probably the least violent of the bunch!

Funny how that works out, isn't it? Impressions can be misleading, and I think we made a bad one, overall..

It WOULD help if they'd drop by and give us a ride to the parts store, though, wouldn't it?

Alright. I got off my lazy duff and typed it out. Nenothtu's Background Lite is posted here.

"Vandalia" is an area of the Appalachians that some land speculators tried to cut out to create a separate colony in American colonial days.

"AFE" is in tribute to John Titor (wherever, or "whenever", he went).

"Cecil Frederick" Is a play on my dad's name - and a tribute to Myron Francis

"Carpenter" is my last name, but translated to English.


Edit: edited the character background to include a slightly edited version of the psych workup on neno from a couple of pages back in this thread.

Edit again: Alright, alright, alright. That last edit, about the coma, was THE last edit to the character profile. Honest. I think.

What corner did you paint yourself in?

I am waiting to see if any Yydryl memebers are going to be present because I am not going to get stuck there waiting on them to write something, (not meaning you Silo).
So I have not decided on my next course of action. I was thinking of helping Antar with the whales but she seems busy in another area.
If she wants me to write the whales to Earth, I will but it will need to be soon or I am going back to present day Earth to take care of business, at present I am open.

Cindymars - you've got things you wanted to do and I've got tons to do. Just add in your post that we're back on Ship and we'll go from there (in my opinion).

If the others join in fine - if not - we‘ll just have to carry on like we’ve done before - and hope Whisper gets back soon and we get some new recruits for the Yydryl (which I’m actively working on)...

Anyway, I mean I'm through begging people to participate. The whole thing over Scurvy was a complete waste of my time and effort. I'm not going there any longer. If people don't care enough about the project to make it work I can’t force them into it and I’m not going to try any longer.

There's no reason why the others could have not kept writing while we were gone. I mean look how long we wrote around the fact our captain wasn't even showing up for oh, lets see, attacks on Ship, etc... (There's the whales to take care of, a whole back story of missing Captains to fill in, deaths, poisonings, a head of Security to look for, and on and on and on. None of that needed us around.)

So, IMO - get us back to Ship and do what you gotta do and I'll get to work on mine.

We have a regular "cast" going over here.

Except for our crazy cane-wielding shape-changing old man w/ his invisible friends who's got all of them, himself AND his cane in an escape pod floating through the void now.

I could always use more officers......

Wow, so this is a bit off-topic but a kind of life update for you all.

I apparently caught the dreaded swine flu.

Tests came back positive and now I'm locked down in isolation (my room) for 5 more days until my symptoms clear.

Funny thing - the only thing it amounted to for me was a bad cough at the beginning of the week, some sneezing and some night chills.

What's all the hype about?



You'll see me on a lot more over the next 5 days.
