Japan protests NKorea's rocket launch plan

www.google.com

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Japan hinted it could down an incoming North Korean rocket, but analysts said the communist country will go ahead with a planned April launch with little fear of the consequences.

The North announced this week it will send a satellite into orbit between April 4-8, saying it would fly over Japan and designating a "danger" zone off the neighboring country in order to warn international shipping and aviation to avoid the area.

Japan should just shoot the thing down. If North Korea is violating UN sanctions then Japan is well in their rights to do so. Anybody is.
It appears to me that NK is testing the fenceline. to see how far they can go. the problem is who is going to put their hand up and put a stop to their shenanigans.
if no one stops this than they are going to try bolder, more pressing experiments.
Japan is in the position to act on this launch, afterall it is crossing their airspace.
