According to David Icke, the global economic collapse is designed to trigger a stream of 'benefits' to the Illuminati agenda. One is to use this as
an excuse to impose a global economic dictatorship controlled by a world central bank.
But the one he emphasizes is the need to stay calm and react peacefully to what is happening. He believes “they want you to riot” in response to the unfolding economic catastrophe and contends we are already seeing people falling for this.
This, he says, would be the excuse to bring in a fully-fledged Police State all over the world and people who riot in their desperation (instigated invariably by agent-provocateurs) are just the excuse they are looking for.
Pointing to riots in France and Greece, strikes in the United Kingdom, and growing unrest in North America, Icke paints a picture in which authorities around the world are goading people into extreme behavior with the goal of supplanting existing governments with the NOW: a global bank, global government and global currency.
While many of his opinions are outrageously unsupported, it would appear that this one, and his call for calm in the face of extreme adversity, are founded in facts observable to anyone with a stake in society.
