UK ISPs will be required to hand over records of customers’ internet surfing habits, including IP addresses and times of use, to police and intelligence agencies from Sunday.
As part of the EU Data Retention Directive, all ISPs must retain customers’ names, addresses and user IDs, as well as records of email and internet telephony communications, for a year.

Ok well, time to boycott the internet yes?
That's the only way to stop this filth.
This is just NWO domination at its finest.
Lets go back to post shall we?
Lets see how quick they withdraw this then

The government should be made to release the same information to the public so that the public can see what the government is doing on the internet as well.

Yes, but you know they wont be made to.
So something needs to be done.
What better way, than to boycott the internet entirely.
I know it would be a drag.
But it would work.
When sales start plummeting they would withdraw this instantly.
This is a massive breach and invasion of all peoples privacy in the EU.
Everyone.
They only need reason to access it.
Not a warrant.
Imagine the exploitation that will happen.
Lives ruined and destroyed.

This is seriously not a joke???

That needs to be stopped. The internet has been a place of freedom, where we could chat with whoever we want and NOT be watched... Come on, hand over all usernames ??

So much for anonymousness. I wonder how long til this comes to the states. Then they won't even need to force websites to hand over the info... when the ISP just logs it for them.

#$%& them.
