Are we on the brink of AI? ASIMO Robot

One thing I have to wonder is why Asimo called the toy robot "Grandpa" instead of "Robot" or "Toy Robot". The only thing I can think is that either it was programmed to refer to robots as such or it was listening in on the host describing it as grandpa to the audience.

I think it's response to the mini cooper as compared to "grandpa" was definitely a head scratching moment. It changed its output response (which is a matter of a return and an if then statement which should not change the output). No one else noticed this? I'm still convinced, there is more than meets the eye with this little bot.

Footnote: Did anyone notice that ASIMO's targeting system is very similar to Samsung's killbot?

hmmmm, im gonna watch that over again to see if i pick it up.
Also wonder if "grandpa" was just something honda threw in there to refer to other manufacturers?

He said he was going to show ASIMO items it has never seen before.
