I'm not much for government spending, but asking soldiers to pay with private insurance for their service related injuries would be about the last thing I would do.

According to CNN - Obama has that plan on the table:

Apparently, the plan has been worked into the budget. There is an increase in "third-party collections" estimated in the 2010 budget proposal, under veterans care. Veterans group say this couldn't be achieved unless Veterans Administration started billing for service-related injuries.

The article said that the issue would be DOA upon arrival at the Senate - but to even THINK about proposing this is unbelievable.

What the hell is going through his administration's heads?

This just shows you how out of touch these people are, there is no way I am going to let something like this happen. My Son has served for years and is still serving. And to think that now he will have to have this happen.

He can barely make it on the pay that they get , but he does not complain he just dose the job that he loves. But they the soldiers are only going to go so far and take so much.

What a bunch of boobs!
