I think your analogy may have missed the mark a bit. Yes, it is like trying to put a match out with a swimming pool but it is more dire than that.

The simple fact that active duty military is out and about patrolling ANY private American streets is simply wrong. It's against the constitution. We have police for this. Period. We have 'National Guardsmen' for this.

Then again, this may actually be the NG and not an active duty unit.

Either way, it is simply a means to make people more open to the idea of having the military on their own streets.

Total crap.
