So apparently the guy who wrote this has been trying to ram it through for 7 sessions of Congress.

en.wikipedia.org...

In each of 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009, Serrano introduced a joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the 22nd Amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as president. Each resolution, with the exception of the current one, died without ever getting past the committee.

I don't like him.

People should really read history, thank you for denying ignorance.

José Serrano has been trying this for over a decade now.

Wow, for a group that largely loves resurrecting the founding fathers, I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that those fantastic men didn't set turn limits to begin with, nor was imposed until 1951.

Presidents claim to base their self imposed 2 term limits on Washington's 2 terms, even Washington hinted at the fact that if he wasn't old and feeling run down he most likely would've ran again.

Granted I like idea of term limits and would hate to see it repealed, and I do not know what this guy's motives are for getting rid of them.
