Report: Slain US Nazi hated Obama, had parts for 'dirty bomb' by Stephen C. Webster
Published: Monday March 9, 2009

ALLEDGEDLY

Trust fund millionaire James G. Cummings, an American Nazi sympathizer from Maine who was slain by his wife Amber in December, allegedly had the radioactive components necessary to construct a "dirty bomb," a newly released threat analysis report states.
(visit the link for the full news article)

This guy was young at 29 years old, and reportedly (Bangor Daily News) lived here.

I have been to Belfast, Maine. It is a beautiful, hardworking small Maine seacoast town about 4 hours from the eastern Canadian border and 2 hours from the Maine /New Hampshire border. It is one hour from Augusta, Maine which is the states capitol.

Locally, this story has got to be very shocking.

Apparently this guy was a neo nazi and ordered radioactive materials from a US company. I am following a distant memory of a lead to a ufo-subculture-ish store that offered various chemicals and materials that may or may not be related to this story. I had put some conjecture here early this morning but now after sleeping I cannot find said store.

Here is the Bangor Daily News story
I think they broke it

Report: 'Dirty bomb' parts found in slain man's home Agency says radioactive materials recovered in home of man allegedly slain by his wife

According to an FBI field intelligence report from the Washington Regional Threat and Analysis Center posted online by WikiLeaks, an organization that posts leaked documents, an investigation into the case revealed that radioactive materials were removed from Cummings’ home after his shooting death on Dec. 9.

Here is the original (or close to) source according to the first article. Wikileaks was the source.

The "dirty bomb" that disappeared
March 8, 2008
The curious tale of an Obama hating, cashed up, nuclear Timothy McVeigh from Maine.
By Julian Assange (investigations editor)

According to the FBI report, Cummings had four lots of one gallon containers of bomb-grade hydrogen peroxide, uranium, thorium (also radioactive), lithium metal, thermite, aluminum powder, beryllium (radiation booster), boron, black iron oxide and magnesium ribbon.

I wasn't sure how to submit these secondary or initial sources so I quoted the headline and then a snippet. I thought it would be clumsy to submit each article separately.

Holy crap there's a link in the first story to the "Washington Regional Threat and Analysis Center" that says something about a machine gun heist in Pennsylvania in December. The link is PDF so I couldn't review the whole thing there fore I will not link it.

well, flag this if you think this stuff is concerning.

Here is a video of the Belfast Maine police chief I believe. I hope people keep their heads screwed on straight and don't try to get Chuck Norris on us.

Good Lord! I would have thought this would have received more interest. The Bush administration didn't want this to get out but perhaps they were busy tracking down all the connections. There is a sub culture in the USA that is now openly talking sedition and treason. Don't let them push us into civil war or worse.

Allegedly found in his house were radioactive and bomb making materials as well as bomb making how to literature and literature connecting him to white supremacists in the National Socialist Movement.

The literature does not alarm me for people read all sorts of stuff for all sorts of reasons not to mention our rights to Free Speech. What alarms me is the assembling of a stockpile of materials for use in making a dirty radioactive bomb.

What really concerns me is this guy was apparently living off of a $10 MILLION a year trust fund which begs the question, what else was he doing with his money and are there similar assemblages of materials elsewhere waiting to be assembled?

Sadly, I think we'll see a lot of this kind of thing.

When you have a celebrity like Chuck Norris proudly announcing that there are thousands of far-right terrorist cells working to depose the elected leadership of the country, we're in deep doo-doo...

While these skin heads disgust me, I can't help but to read "dirty bomb" and laugh.

Dirty bombs aren't really much of a threat, not much more than the conventional explosives used to detonate them.

The real chaos comes from the public's inability to remain calm after a blast.

The radio-active material dispersed via a dirty bomb can be cleaned up, and people contaminated can be cleaned of it as well.

The issue is when people hear a blast, or hear that it might be "radio-active" they panic. Chaos ensues, and the authorities find it near impossible to get people to stay where they are so they can begin the cleanup and get medical crews through to check up on the people.

People are the destructive force in such a scenario. Few people are ever expected to die as a direct result of a dirty bomb going off... many are expected to die because of public stupidity and panic.

Imagine if you set off a large flour bomb.
People can actually see the flour sticking to them.
People would assume it's something else, and all hell would break lose.

We really are our own worst enemy.

This is why we who are the buisness of planning for such things, refer to dirty bombs as weapons of mass disrubtion.

You've been around long enough to know that there are those in this country who will attempt to make their move. Those numbers seem to be growing as this govt becomes more repressive and the economy worsens.

I am actually from the town where this went down- in fact I used to hang out in that house with friends before the guy bought it! It was definitely a disturbing situation for the whole state- I believe the murder rate in the county increased by a dramatic infinity percent from 0 to 1. This guy was a real strange bird, and while his wife in some respects is a 'hero', you have to remeber that she lived with and married this guy- neo-nazi tattoos, subculture and all.. so I don't really know where she stood. One of the main reasons she actually killed him, was that the day before he hit her so hard that he actually broke her arm- that's a pretty hard hit. I feel like an idiot that I didn't post this when it happened, I didn't even think too- It was a couple months ago that it went down -ciao

It's "skinheads" like myself and others that are gonna be on the front lines, don't get it twisted, the term skinhead should not even be used in the same sentence as Nazi or supremacist, The original skinheads, were black believe it or not. Called um rudeboys over in Jamaica.

The problem with this country are people exploiting and driving on the backs of the working class.(with that inheritance this guy must have no idea what it means to work for you and yours.)All it means to be an Oi! boy is community pride, an honest days work, and setting an example.

Now it makes sense. This is how they are going to justify going after citizens of dissent and labeling them "Domestic Terror" cells.

And with the race issue being played, it just makes it that much easier for them, like the hate bill.

I wonder if what Chuck Norris said about cells of Right wingers armed and ready for a second Revolution could be labeled "Domestic Terror Cells"

See how they broaden the range on discriptive labels.

It also makes you wonder if the old Chuckster is in on the coming Globalism and is saying crap like that to usher in a new kind of police control.

I would say a small group of people using arms, dirty bombs and such to try to depose our government would be rightly called a "Domestic Terror Cell".
It is one thing to dissent, and a whole other to be planning overthrow of the government or harm to your fellow citizen for any political agenda.
