"The economy was actually doing well throughout the majority of Bush's term".

Everything looks great when its purchased with Credit. President Bush ran massive deficits to fund Iraqi War, which set off credit bubble in derivatives Market, which extended credit to housing market that created housing bubble. Economics 101.

The Bill came due in late 2008, which forced lehman brothers collapse and the first cash transfer to AIG. President Obama has the uneviable position of clenaing up the fiscal irresponsibility of previous congress and President Bush.

This is pretty heavy man. I have not heard this kind of talk outside of the Alex Jones show. My impression after reading this is that it would make Alex proud to be a friend of Chuck Norris when he is doing what Alex wants everyone who listens to his show to do... be proactive about getting the word out.

I have to admit that I am taken aback with the religious rhetoric, and what place it would have in the political climate of a new Texan leadership under Chuck Norris or anyone else.(Which is one of the reasons we had populated this country anyway.)

I also wonder about the true numbers of these people who are ready and trained to fight. I am sure that a movement of like minded individuals would spread like wildfire. There is an old saying, I believe it was one of the founding fathers that goes something like this; Fire is a dangerous slave, and a fearful master. These things could get out of control.

I saw another thread that quoted David Icke as saying that the government wants us to revolt. I believe this analysis. What a better way to take the velvet off of the iron fist.

Editor’s note: The following article is an example of how far we have drifted from our constitutional principles in this country. The author of this article seems to think reclaiming the country in the name of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is a “right wing” concept. If we follow this logic, then, the left wing wants tyranny, dictatorship, and a police state. In fact, it seems Chuck Norris is moving away from the Republican party — in his article on WND, linked below, he actually claims there is little difference between the two parties — and is calling for a Second American Revolution. If this is “right wing,” count me in

Alex Jones (well, the Infowars "Editor")'s presenting note.

As a foreign, european observer, I was somewhat shocked by the show given by this little 13 yrs old guy who spoke for two minutes in the GOP convention recently.

Shocked was I, do I say, not so much by the "savant monkey" dimension of the all speech, but much more by WHAT DID THE DUDE declared :

The little dude proudly stated that beeing a US Rep was to 1/ Respect the Constitution, 2/ Respect Life 3/ Fight for Less Gov 4/Support Personal Responsability.

Well, if the two last are probably truly right-wingy (at least according to yall americans' definitions...), what about the two firsts ?

Shall some conspiracy be detected there ? Does this little arrogant kid (future heroïnoman ? McCauley Stuffin, anyone ?
), which btw plays the actor when not writing by summertime a little book about the GOP true meanin' and policies, does all this be somewhat stage in regrad of some deeper goal now aimed at by the Repz spin doctors ?

I mean : ya say Constitution ? Isn't the US Constitution, as oftenly stressed by many fellows ATSers, in many ways the ultimate firewall against tyranny ?

Ya speak respect for life ? Err... Ya mean respect for Embryoinic Life... ? Or respect for the billionaire Elder not to die of the streetman's cancer ?

Because if you speak, little dude, of the life of the homeless addicted to the public free soup, - or of the right for ALL CITIZENS to access the SAME Health Services than the richest in the nation... Well... You'd better vote Democrate, lildude, if not ULTRA-LEFT - if this still exist in your post McCathyst USA...

That is why despite all i still somehow like Al Jones' activism, - as the guy truly debunks (if that's still needed... but MSM surely don't debate much abot this as far as I can observe) the meltdown of both so called-prezidential Parties in a unique maelstrom that just blurs out the real alternatives that a true Democracy should have the front to meet as so many practical political possibilities.

Obama's seems to wish a direct confrontation with some powers acting for a far too long time in a way that could trigger a real "velvet revolution" from within the system. If Lobbyist are thrown out of the scene, if a real "Fraternalist" if not "Socialist" (I know you guys have been all grown up upon hating that very ultimate concept...) social structure is developped as promised, then perhaps the word Democrat will offer some meaning again, for the sake of YOU THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

What about the National Socialist Movement - the nazis? Not on the mainstream press much is this story about a rich $10 million dollar trust fund receiving 29 year old in Maine (via Ft. Bragg, CA and Texas) assembling the makings of a dirty bomb. He was shot dead by his wife in December. Subsequent police investigation resulted in the FBI being called in for the discovery of radioactive material and bomb making parts in his Belfast, Maine home. ATS thread on dirty bomb being made in Maine

I found that story after reading the alarming language of Chuck Norris. I am officially scared of a far right wing attempt at taking over the controls of the USA. Admittedly, the nazis are far left by definition which serves to show the irrevelance of the false left/right two party paradigm.

So let me get this straight... Chuck Norris along with all these 'Conservative - Right-Wing' groups that stood idly by while BushCo ransacked The Constitution, lied to Congress, broke an impressive list of Federal laws and had a major role in up-ending the economy thereby putting the entire fabric of the country at-risk. These folks are NOW standing-up and calling for a New American Revolution? Hypocrisy at its finest.

Werent the Clintons and Reno making this same claim in the 90's?

I was just in my teens at the time but I seem to recall an awful lot of "crazy right-wingers" and "right-wing militia" and "these radio shows need to be censored" sort of garbage all in the name of keeping us safe from the numerous right-wing sleeper groups out there stockpiling fertilizer and guns.

McVeigh justified all of their insanity to the public even if briefly.

Regardless of whether the elephant or donkey are taking our property and ruling our lives somebody is always getting rounded up. Reagan had the reds, Bush Sr. had the Iraqis, Clinton and Reno came after U.S. citizens, Bush Jr. had the "terrorists" which conveniently included U.S. citizens as well as foreigners and now Obama is all set to continue the war on both of them leaning harder than Bush Jr. did on the U.S. citizens as hard as Clinton did if not harder without letting up on the foreign "threats."

The REALLY scary thing is that elements in the right wing, which chuck represents, are participating in fear mongering to get gun owners to believe that their second amendment rights are going to be taken away.

There is an element that has its roots deep in our recent culture that is seeking to overthrow the USA. These are the people we are being warned about. These are the people that seek to exert forceful control on many aspects of our daily lives. These are the people who wish to have everyone with guns on their side leaving the rest of us flapping in the breeze and sitting ducks for forced round-ups of freedom loving Americans.

As much as I hate the left right paradigm it does illustrate the diversity of thought and opinion that makes the United States of America a great country in many aspects. We have lots of room for improvement but we should not throw out the baby with the bath water as they say.

I'm a bit surprise that Chuck Norris is even serious about it. I wonder if he is one of those 911 protesters. Chuck Norris has really lost it if you ask me.

It's all about disarming the American public. IMO. Get enough news about all these people running for guns and ammo and planning 'the new revolution'; only a handful of instances need to break out. The gov calls for disarmament ensuing martial law and voluntary weapons drop off houses. The uk and canada feel validated that we like them lack the rights to carry firearms.

Chucky's playing right into the plot.

Action jeans, lol! Come in a ladies line?

Sadly some people do view Norris as a godlike figure, and would gladly do what he tells them to do no matter how crazy it is.

But if Norris does become president (he wont), we might get to see the coolest fight ever.

Chuck Norris vs Vladimir Putin

I would pay a lot of money to see that fight.

The very fact that such an iconic and idolized individual as Chuck Norris is speaking up on these issues, like several other icons have done, only continues to give these issues merit and solidify them as the current and true "state of the union".
Jessie has been at it a lot longer and we are seeing that he was right then and now. Chuck is essentially onboard with the new movement and that alone will incite people to change the way they see the world around them overnight.

Since it was tossed out there already, I would just like to comment that those not condemning the Bush administration right along with everyone else involved in this horrid state of affairs is truly living in a fantasy world of one sided prejudice. Bush's regime created this mess in the first place and now passes it on to the next reign holder to take the brunt of public outcry. There is no way that the government can do anything but keep screwing up. Of course, they will not leave it alone, so things are not going to get any better. Dont blame just one person, office or organization...this is completely the fault of the government entity at a whole and actually dates all the way back to the reign of Bush, Sr. There was a slight reprieve during the scandalous times of everyone's favorite cigar dipping prez, but that was short lived and mostly a time of Mass Distraction.

The Bush legacy as a whole is one of War in the Middle East, since both Bush leaders made a play in the region. It has been a distracting cover up to net themselves, their friends and TPTB trillions of dollars of taxpayer money, unprecedented amounts of freedoms dissolved, and an absolute 180 turn from the founding ideals of this country at large.

Its happened before on smaller scales, but now we see the wheel grinding the servants into the ground.

I find it a bit ironic though, that the very people who would blindly follow this band of iconic players are those same people who would claim that they are tired of being told how to think and what to do. Would not that be the very thing they are doing now, by letting the words of Jessie and Chuck guide their thoughts and actions, just because they believe in one idea over another?

I still reserve my judgment for the future. Just pay attention and know that only what you see can you believe. Do not close your mind to the multitudes of truths and lies that you will encounter each day.

Having been one of those ranting about the constitutional abuse by the Bush administration, I agree. And the revolt of "thousands of militia groups" (each with its own leader and agenda) seems a scenario for another Darfur. Will they then want a "president for life" to ensure that no Horrible Liberal ever gets into office?

The constitution was designed to be a living document, not a static object... otherwise the only ones able to vote would be White men who were landowners. That'd leave out much of the population of ATS, including people like me who have voted in every national election and many of the state and local elections since they got their first voting card.

According to the polls, there's not much support for the "get out and shoot the government" idea. People are beginning to feel slightly more optomistic (after a long stretch of lows which resulted in great changes during election time) www.gallup.com... 20% may not seem like much, but it's a real improvement over the 13% of the last months of the Bush administration.

Obama's job approval is 62% (about where it is for every president at this point in their term), although the disapprovals are at 26%. This is still a far cry from what the Bush disapproval rating was :
www.gallup.com...

If Norris had been calling for a revolution during the last days of the Bush admin and a taking back of the constitution then, I think there'd have been a lot more support.

One thing that makes me harbor SOME doubt about SOME conspiracy theories, is that people like Alex Jones and David Icke are still alive.

And the kid who did Loose Change; come on, the PTB/NWO must really want to throw this knowledge in our faces for HIM to still be alive!

That is 100% how I think and feel about all of this. Thank you for saying it as it seems to get swept under the carpet far too easily.

I would rebel right back. I will not live under the complete control of those nutjobs. I would fight back or move, rather than live under their crazy, out-dated morals/ideals.

Not happening.

You KNOW it's serious when Chuck Norris is concerned.

Although i'm 100% confident he alone could tackle the entire taliban at once, when he starts getting concerned, YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED.

Seriously this is Chuck Norris we're talking about.

Chuck Norris!

'Thousands' of groups? I dunno. Maybe some... but 'thousands'??
Is he counting as a group when two or three gun owning neighbors
get together, have a few beers, and complain about the government?
