Official: Ill. slaying suspect planned `death day'

Sedlacek, 27, of Troy, was charged Monday with first-degree murder and aggravated battery in the attack at First Baptist Church that killed the Rev. Fred Winters and left Sedlacek and two congregants who tackled him with stab wounds.

Neither Mudge nor Illinois State Police would comment on a possible motive or on Sedlacek's mental state when he allegedly strode into the church shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday, exchanged words with Winters and began firing a handgun.

"We're still not sure what the reasoning was," said state police Lt. Scott Compton, adding that investigators had not yet interviewed Sedlacek.

The cops are not sure what reasoning the 27-year-old gunman used. So why don't we helped them a bit . . .

The gunman got inspired by his age: Each year, he read thoroughly one book of The New Testament according to his age since the time he could read. Upon reaching 27 years of age, he came to the end, coz the 27th and the last book of The New Testament is Revelation -- an extremely violent and insane accounts of various visions. This book also includes the reference to the devil. And that was it. The gunmen was so much distressed by the religious insanity, so he declared his personal war on religion.

Any other idea . . . ?
