It works best when searching for a more general subject that doesn't have specific keywords, or in other words if you don't exactly know what you're looking for already. It's also nice when you're kinda board and you want to type in one word and see all the conspiracy theories or alternative non mainstream things related to it.

It is based on a white list of conspiracy and non mainstream media web sites like www.survivalblog.com www.rense.com and hundreds more, you get the idea. Pages linked from the sites on the list are also searched. These are usually mainstream news articles linked from a site like this one.
