hello
for fun, i have made a message using numbers for letters,
well, sort of...

5711154 1982 66 455 582 19 1982 451 7763683717 4593771
451 75995559755 5195459 5461 8295 83169771 3139763695435
1 75913 5414 5552 118 5711154 1982 5463 582 4595879354
5418 367 5711154 1982 7594159 72 731369426

this is a genuine message

each number corresponds to a letter

for the sake of grammar, this entire message does not, (Not)
have any of these , . ! ? etc..... and really is just the one Long
sentence

more clues can be found in the message as to how to decipher it

good luck and have fun

lol, as an after thought.....

rather then post your reply here with the decoded message

maybe u can u2u me and then others can still be left baffled

and then i can add your username to this post
and then have a list of people who have had enough time
to fool around with this

maybe nobody will figure it out.... or has the time....

I have a strange feeling, as long as this isn't a "how do you keep a moron busy" type puzzle, this could become quite fun.

Come on Agent, lets do it!

Hmm interesting, I wonder what you mean by well sort of.

I don't understand the 66. If 66 means I, that would be wrong, because there is no other 66 there. If 6 is a letter that would also be wrong, because I can't think of a words that has just 2 letters and being the same.

Strange...

Ok seen a possible pattern 1982 comes after 5711154 each time. Hmmm.

this is Not a Joke

this is a real message, and once deciphered will be both
informative as to how the code was made and well, amusing!

for the OP's.... yes there are no 0's so, without giving any more away....

also, yes, there might be 'duplicate' numbers
but, this still does not change the fact, each number does represent a letter... might have given too many clues away... or have i?

thanks for so many replies too! i went away for a few hours,
working on exposing a possible scam....

_Phoenix_
yes, double numbers does not necessarily mean same letters
oops, my brain leaked that last one, ignore it...

Edit to add - -
one final tip, find and download TED Notepad
basically, using TED Notepad over the last few years
there are lots of tricks you can do with text using this small Free
Ted Notepad,. it is like regular Notepad on steroids!
'obviously' this might not help everyone, but might help those
who know about 'reverse engineering'....

Oh my God I'ts driving me MAD! I c'ant decipher it and because of you I'm now not going to get any sleep tonight which will make me call in sick at work tomorrow, and I will end up getting sacked, and my house will end up getting repo'd.
You can make amends for this mental torture you've inflicted by U2U'ing me with the answer asap.

With 3 successive numerals, if you try to treat it as a simple substitution cipher, you'll probably get nowhere...

Maybe a Base numeral conversion? (but would have to be at least base 9 based on the numbers involved, and then there are the spaces to contend with...). In addition, the OP may have reversed the numbers either completely, or by "word" with TED notepad...so have fun....

if i were to let you know by U2U, what is in it for me? haha joking...
but.... i could let you know, and then you could post on this thread that the message is legit... and of course tell absolutely no one!!!

anyway.... back to the rest of the messages here on ATS/BTS

B4,

One number = one letter????

5711154 is a number. Are you saying that group is 1 letter or each single number is a letter?

Save me from Insanity!!
