Edited: Discovered that this site is not what it purports to be. Therefore I do not feel comfortable recommending it to my fellow ATS-ers.

I had my last smoke on October 27th last year. I had to quit due to ill health, and I have (so far) managed to keep it up. I have smoked heavily for over 25 years.

I am glad I've quit.

However, I started eating and drinking in excess. I have gained 30+ pounds and my wife informed me that I drink too much. (If I told you how many bottles of red I've drunk this year, you would not believe me, honestly it is a scary number)

Anyway, my point was to watch out for the other things that you may be replacing smokes with.

But, not smoking feels great. Really great.

*high-fives KayEm and SE7EN*

I'm with you, guys.

Congratulations Kayem!

Its awesome that you were able to quit smoking.

I used to smoke when I first started college, but I quit and its one of the best desicions I've made.
