First new thread...

I have been researching the Rockefeller "Standard Oil" for some time now, and I believe I have found some interesting symbology in its subsidiaries and splinter companies...

I will present this, and my interpretations to you now.

Standard oil was a petroleum company that was created by the Rockefeller family in the early 20th century.

In 1911, the Standard oil company was ordered by the US DOJ broken into 34 companies under anti-trust legislation.

My presentation is the symbology (occult) of the shattered remains of this corporation.

1. Esso, precursor, and international trade name for ExxonMobil.

Translation: 322 (Skull and bones)

2. Exxon

Translation: Upside down Patriarchal Cross

3. Chevron

Translation: Upside down Corporal Insignia (ARMY)

4. Amoco

Translation: Illuminist Torch

5. Sunoco

Translation: (possibly) upside down Mars symbol.

6. ARCO

Translation: Cross, or even better... Pyramid from Above.

Anyways... just wanted to share.

From those logos my conclusion is that a few of those companies have to hire some graphic designers and update their image. I don't particularly for what their logos signify. I'm more interested in the quality of their product.

I'm not sure how you read that as upside down? Slanted? Sure. Tipped over even. But inverted? No. I don't see it.

3. Chevron

Translation: Upside down Corporal Insignia (ARMY)
Well that is, by definition, what a chevron IS. Now granted, they could have gotten by with one, or they could have used 3 or more. I don't know that two has any particular significance in their design.
