From the Citigroup website on March 5, 2009,

www.citigroup.com...

"Citi never sleeps"

Maybe a little honesty, morality, and humility would help to clear that conscience.

I happened to click on Citigroup's "Our Brands" link where I found this skeleton - Banamex -

Clicking over to their website I quickly retreived this shining gem of responsibility, especially in light of recent events.

www.banamex.com...

"Banamex offers Mortgaging Credit to pay debts..."

"Mexico has a huge opportunity to improve the debt profile of the families, taking full advantage of approximately 20 million houses that are not mortgaged and with this initiate a new financing growth cycle of the families, thus improving their purchasing power.

Banamex through it’s ‘debt payment’ product confirms it’s comitment with mexican families by offering more transparent and accesible credit options, reflecting in a greater financial tranquility for the families."

I guess it hasn't occurred to Citigroup that maybe, at the very least, they should be learning a lesson in all this.

Really only a rant, but I thought this bold display worth spotlighting for a moment.
