Was Barack Obama told he was going to be President before hand?

I've been watching some of his speeches on youtube during the primaries. I find it surprising. He was saying that he would be President even as far back as the primaries. He said not "if I'm President" but he kept on saying "when I'm President". Did he know? Most Presidents do not talk and say that they'll be President. I just find it kind of odd. Did anyone else pick up on this?

programing. suggestion. he was putting into our malleable minds that he was definirely going to be president.

actually, if you read he pennypress piece on how his speeches contained all sots of programming, this makes perfect sense.

besides, when you've even got the republicans helping you out, how can you lose?

Hmmm. Another random indication that the power of perception might possibly be a little bit totally real. ? Maybe!

Actually, to be fair I think I spoke the same way when I ran for student council president in middle school...Anyway

You might however find this interesting: I haven't really tried too hard (I haven't had the time today) but I cam across this new interview with Bob Dean yesterday on Project Camelot (I made a thread on it too) but here is the link to the interview

www.projectcamelot.org...

And interestingly enough, Mr. Dean mentions that Obama knew he was going to be president 20 years ago...alluding to the fact that the Illuminati/Bilderburg choose the would-be candidates many, many years in advance. He even mentions he told a few people to their face in his youth he was going to be president...
Do I believe this? Eh, not sure. However, does anyone know more about this possibility?

It's too bad he couldn't have let us know about his attempts at destroying what is left of the economy!

WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

It took less than 2 months.

Worst President ever.

The united states as it looked and stood for over 200 years is gone thanks to corrupted Republicans who f'd up so bad that the public voted in the most RADICAL LIBERAL/SOCIALIST PIG they could have possibly found...and they did it out of anger.

He will forever be known as the President who destroyed what made this country great.

We will never be the country we once were...we will never be as strong...and we most certainly will never be as wealthy.

All thanks to this administration...the last one....and the pieces of garbage in congress.

Actually many presidents took part in the dismantling of America. I suck at history, but whoever was in office when the federal reserve was enacted screwed us royally. Was it Wison, or Truman? I don't remember. Nixon pulling us off the gold standard in '71 was strike #2, to my very, very little knowledge.

Bush did endless wrong to further mess up this once great country. Obama's just finishing the job. Not that he isn't doing wrong. Of course he is. He's just not the only one.

In my book, Bush is the worst president ever, but who knows we've still (possibly) got 3 3/4 years left of Obama. Still some pieces left to be bought and shipped overseas.

Oh I agree with you...it's not just the Presidents though...congress as well.

Obama has gone into overdrive. This country was already headed for the gutter...that's how he got elected.

And look at what he's done? Exactly what no one wanted to happen. He's spending out of control and raising taxes in a recession.

How in the hell is that supposed to stop what is happening? Why doesn't he cut government spending?

If he can't see what he is doing is making things worse then he has to be the worst President ever.

Hell, it only took him less than 2 months to pass up Bush.

Maybe he should appoint him as an economic advisor.

it's the oddest thing but cutting spending seems to be the one solution that government at all levels won't do. they borrow or print money or think up new taxes. never ever ever do they cut spending. what's the deal with that? it's so obvious, and what the rest of us must do when we run short.

what is obama et al really trying to do? fix things--obviously not. take us socialist--seems too obvious. is there a level of conspiracy that I've missed? are they using the cloward-piven strategy to take us somewhere else?

For someone who just assumed the most powerful seat in the world, he sure had a look of doom on his face at the inauguration. That was hard to watch.

He's a Democrat, spending and government expansion are the tenets of that party. The Clintons were elected in period of economic downturn and actually left office with a surplus budget and a stable economy. Let's hope Obama can pull off a similar act (I'm not holding my breath too long though).

so...it seems you are on the fence as to how you really feel about this government. it's been six weeks for god's sake, and what's your big idea for turning this massive financial crisis around, just let all these businesses fail? or cut all taxes for the wealthy, in hopes they'll let us beg them to give us jobs?

Do you really think this level of spending is run of the mill democratic stuff? It seems beyond reason to me. Can you even envision a scenario where the economy can support repayment of this debt? and they've only been at it for 40 days. They're barely warmed up.

Yes, of course he knew that he would be president. He knew because he was told that he would be appointed, not elected, if he would just do what he was told, which a lot of presidents in the past have had a hard time with. He seems to be the ultimate puppet and knows only swinging from a string. Yes indeed, he did know that he would be president. Without a doubt he knew...sabre11004...

I'm certain he knew well in advance he would be POTUS. John Kerry, CFR Director, introduced him during the Democrat Convention in '04. Goto youtube and look at some videos by a man named George Green. He will talk about how he was recruited to become Commerce Sec. for Jimmy Carter back in '74 - 2 years before the election. He was told by the dark powers that be that Carter will win since they owned the elections. I'm certain Toby Soetoro was told the same thing. The puppet masters continue to spit in the eyes of the people for 25 years now, and the mojority of you still allow it to happen.

Most politicians when they speak say, "when I'm...". However, I do believe that the powers that be do tell the candidates who will win because it's all predetermined. Remember how, during the NH primaries last year, some news organization reported that McCain got something like 15 or so votes in a town that only had 22 people that could vote...but then the people came out [and naturally it wasn't reported] that they'd all for the most part voted for Ron Paul?
