Rod Blagojevich to be coming out with a new book

t’s not likely to do much to heighten the level of public discourse, but ousted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has signed a “six-figure” book deal with Beverly Hills-based publisher Phoenix Books. According to publicist Glenn Selig, Blagojevich “plans on exposing the dark side of politics that he witnessed on both the state and national level.”

He may also make some colleagues uncomfortable. “He does not intend to pull any punches and will reveal information and provide insights that will at times be embarrassing to himself as well as to others,” Selig said in a statement.

The book, scheduled for an October release, is tentatively titled “The Governor.” But Chicago Tribune blogger John Kass (who finds “The Governor” to be a “terrible” title) is offering an undisclosed “real prize” to whoever comes up with a better one. So far suggestions include: “The Hair Gods are Angry” and “Illinois: Will the Defendant Please Rise.”

Oooh, wow this man has a huge ego. If anything he should be an expert about dirty politics.

I can't wait to get this one. I want to see the rantings of an insane man.

But seriously. Isn't this a bit laughable? He got ejected out of politics and now he is going to get a 6 figure deal on writing a book?
