I don't have anything to add that the others haven't. Just remember, If it wasn't this, it would be something else.
You can live on less, you can do without, you can put up with the worst that they can throw at you. It is only temporary.

Thank you all once again for the advice and well wishes. Things seem to be getting better now. My step dad was able to get an extension on his unemployment so we're still hangin in there. Still have boxes packed and ready to go just in case.
