Some would ask, “Terror again in Pakistan? So what’s new?”

Pakistan is fast spinning out of control, and how! What a mess! Chaos in the North West where the Taliban is holding an impotent country to ransom, the political turmoil within the country where the honeymoon between the PPP and PMN(L) is all but over resulting in widespread violence and anti government protests, the terrorists including the Taliban and Al Qaeda gradually spreading their influence in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi and dire warnings of a Taliban takeover, given by none other than Pakistan’s CID, incontrovertible proof of the planning and execution of the Mumbai carnage by Pakistan’s rogue Inter Services Intelligence, supported by the Army and now the deadly terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.

So why was this done? With Pakistan’s ISI mixed up in all this mess, experts contend that this has been orchestrated by the Pakistan’s ISI / Army to stonewall the Mumbai investigations, as they are fully involved in the conspiracy. This may be a ploy to deflect attention from their involvement. This is part of the conspiracy to create more mayhem in Pakistan to lay the foundations for a coup by the Pak Army!

Pakistan is unraveling and is fast heading towards becoming a failed state. The US has already sent small teams to take custody of Pakistan’s nuclear assets and changed input codes so that the nukes can be disabled at a moments notice. In fact Pakistan’s nukes are inoperable as of now as these initiation codes have been changed and are only known to the US.

Unless Pakistan’s ISI backed by the Army sheds the policy of state sponsorship of terror, things are only going to get worse. They’re not only a threat to South Asia but to the world as a whole.

We need ACTION and not RHETORIC by the world community especially the U.S. to disband Pakistan’s infamous ISI and put serious pressure on the rogue Pakistani Army to mend its ways. Stop all financial assistance and international funding to them as has been going on for the last several years. America has pumped in more that 17 billion dollars since 9/11 for the so called war against terror in Pakistan – ALL UNACCOUNTED FOR!! Most of the doles went to the Taliban, some into the deep pockets of the Pak Generals and the remainder to buy weapons and equipment to be used against India!

Why are American lawmakers so gullible? Imagine $17 billion of tax payers money showered on Pakistan for ‘fighting terror’ without any accountability for how those dollars have been spent. Now you know! But in spite of this, Pres Obama has promised another dole amounting to $5 billion to Pakistan! How much of it will find its way to the Taliban? No prizes for guessing!

Pakistan's Army/ISI cannot afford to dismantle the terror infrastructure as these terror groups have been formed/raised/funded/trained by the establishment as their 'strategic assets':

> (Pakistani) Taliban for Afghanistan: To be used to finally take over the reigns of power there so that they form a pliable government to help Pak's desperate attempt for establishing 'strategic depth' in Afghanistan in any future war against India.

> LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba)/JeM etc for Kashmir: For insurgency in Kashmir, controlling the intensity like a tap depending upon the situation with the aim of finally wresting Kashmir from India.

Now many terror groups in Pakistan have become hydra headed monsters gone berserk. The government is finding it extremely difficult to tackle this and put the genie back in the bottle. Why? Because the real power center in Pakistan is the Army. The civilian government is just a puppet on a string!

Since the Pak army is totally incapable of taking on the Indian Armed Forces, what better way than to bleed it with a thousand cuts with the use of a strategy of insurgency using the militants/terrorists as cannon fodder? More than 16,000 terrorists have been killed in Kashmir by the Indian Army during the past decade and a half.

But then thanks to the heroin trade from Afghanistan, which is being used for funding terror and filling the pockets of the protagonists - the Pak Army/ISI/politicians. So who's interested in putting a stop to this? Not even the CIA as much of this drug money is required by them too for funding various top secret projects. But that's another story!

Agreed regarding this point. No matter what hardships arise, the citizens are united in the fight against terror.

A big salute to the army men who risk their lives for the safety of citizens.

Proofs of what? Please elucidate!

There is no such thing as wild 'guesses' in strategic and tactical intelligence gathering. These are logical deductions arrived at after credible inputs from multifarious sources - humint, sigint, satint, captured terrorists, agents and so on.

Cheers!
