number 7 continues a short space not number 8.
so that would mean, following your theory, that
bush jr would've had a short stint and the 8th would be the
final one.
Daniel and Revelation are referencing the same thing from two different points in time.
Daniel is discussing the kings of the US after the statehood of Israel in 1947. After 1947 the list of presidents are as such:
1)Dwight D. Eisenhower
2)John F. Kennedy
3)Lyndon B. Johnson
4)Richard Nixon
5)Gerald Ford
6)Jimmy Carter
7)Ronald Reagan
8)George Bush Sr.
9)Bill Clinton
10)George Bush Jr.
Daniel says:
Daniel 7:24-25
24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue
three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed
over to him for a time, times and half a time.
So you see, the passage in Daniel references Obama from after the time when Israel as a nation is reborn. Then in Revelation, we get the same
prophecy with the starting point being the capture of Jerusalem in 1967:
Rev 13:1
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and
upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
and
3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
The head which received the deadly wound but healed is Ronald Reagan.
