Hey its my first post so plz be nice. i was watching bbc news 24 earlier and clearly heard the news reporter call Iran "iran" which is normal but the last time she reffered to the country as "terran" which does not need to be explained. i noticed that this has been goin on for a while but this is the first time my concious brain heard it. im not sure if im mad but is anyone else hearing this?P.S. sorry no link as it was live from bbc news 24.

Most likely either the reporter misspoke or you misheard.

The capital of Iran is Tehran.

Cake sounds nicer than egg really... I'd pay to have cake on my face at the moment, I'm starving.

As others have said, asking questions is how you learn.
Your heading made me think of 'Terrans', as in people of Earth.
