iv been a huge muse fan for a long time...and over the years of listen to them and reading here on ATS i started hearing somethings click together....now im not jumping to any conclusions here, but im willing to bet these guys are a super race of ET's bent on spreding the word..kidding, but they have multiple songs with some pretty questionable lyrics...heres just a couple...

the first songs gives me a slight flashback to project bluebeam maby???

MUSE - EXO-POLITICS lyrics

this next one doesnt really reminde me of much eccept its very epic and it really sounds like they're trying to get a powerfull message across

MUSE - APOCALYPSE PLEASE lyrics

(i wasnt sure where to put this)

Simply put, they're a fan of conspiracy theories.

So much so they include elements in their lyrics.

Im with you on that one. Exo Politics definitely has some substance to it.

When the Zeta's fill the skies
Will our leaders tell us why..

When the Zeta's fill the sky
Its just our leaders in disguise..

I think it would be fairly safe to assume that the Zeta's could be actually the Zeta Reticulants. And the last line i quoted seems to identify the possibility of a false flag UFO attack\ contact by the government.

Interesting lyrical content isnt it.

Also another song, Knights of Cydonia:

Cydonia is where the face on Mars is right! It would seem that these guys are alluding to quite a bit on that album 'Starlight'

Check it out guys, awesome music!

ya like i said there are some other songs of theirs...and this maby just me...but they really seem to tie in with the way i percieve our world and things surrounding us. i think i just feel the epicness and power they put into their music and message it might have just hit me differant than others

I agree with your perception of some of Muse's music. Some of their messages really jive with me as well. Black Holes and Revelations is one of my favorite albums.

I doubt that they know anything more than anybody here does, but they're simply in a position to work their beliefs into their music.

What is your take on their new direction with the whole United states of Eurasia/Zbigniew Brzezinski thing. Im thinking they oppose it all where a lot of fans are now embracing it, it may have backfired but they havnt really said too much, i suppose more will be known when the album is out. The track names are all fairly revolutionary anyway. Plus MK Ultra could be cool too.

"Uprising" – 5:02
"Resistance" – 5:46
"Undisclosed Desires" – 3:56
"United States of Eurasia/Collateral Damage" – 5:47
"Guiding Light" – 4:13
"Unnatural Selection"
"MK Ultra"
"I Belong to You/Mon Cœur S'ouvre à ta Voix"
"Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture)"
"Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross Pollination)"
"Exogenesis: Symphony Part III (Redemption)"

i like Muse. i don't think they're privy to any special information, but i do approve of any band which uses its platform to raise awareness of esoteric or alternative issues.

that said, there is some openly sci-fi stuff in their music as well; i think the more down-to-earth conspiracy-flavored lyrics are just an extension of the same ideas.

I agree with you 100% their music definitely has a message to it. The masses probably can't even figure it out, they do E and go jump around to their tunes but if you know about what they're singing it really ties in to a lot of what we talk about here at ATS. They're music is very good as well by the way! Great band!

lyrics from 2 of their songs off the Resistance album :

UPRISING
Paranoia is in bloom,
The PR transmissions will resume,
They'll try to push drugs that keep us all dumbed down,
And hope that we will never see the truth around
(So come on)
Another promise, another scene,
Another packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed,
And all the green belts wrapped around our minds,
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on)

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious
(So come on)

Interchanging mind control,
Come let the revolution take it's toll,
If you could flick a switch and open your third eye,
You'd see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on)

Rise up and take the power back,
It's time the fat cats had a heart attack,
You know that their time's coming to an end,
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious

UNITED STATES OF EUROSASIA

You and me are the same
We don't know or care who's to blame
But we know that whoever holds the reins
Nothing will change
Our cause has gone insane

And these wars, they can't be won
And these wars, they can't be won
And do you want them to go on
And on and on
Why split these states
When there can be only one?

And must we do as we're told?
Must we do as we're told?

You and me fall in line
To be punished for unproven crimes!
And we know that there is no one we can trust;
Our ancient heroes, they are turning to dust!

And these wars, they can't be won
Does anyone know or care how they begun?
They just promise to go on
And on and on
But soon we will see
There can be only one

United States!
United States!
Of...

Eurasia!
... sia!
... sia!
... sia!

Eurasia!
... sia!
... sia!
... sia!

Eurasia!
... sia!
... sia!
... sia!

Both songs have very strong messages

I've been listening to Uprising and Starlight for the last 2 weeks.

I had heard the songs a month or two ago, and remember thinking, cool, something new and different.

Then they were the musical guest on SNL, and played both of those songs. So I downloaded them. Thought they put on a good show - music sounded great. I'm pretty sure they were live.

Just now playing some cards after a long day at work, about to hit the sack, pull the video for Uprising up on my iphone, and for the first time really payed attention to the lyrics.

I go DAMN, and close youtube to email this to myself to remind me to check the lyrics, and I see the first few comments (on YT):

"Great song - very inspirational"

"I hope people are getting the true message of this song"

"NWO take power back"

:

Then, I think... surely, somebody's talking about this on ATS!!! Bam!

Bring on the Rev. Americans are too lazy, now. :-(

You think they are trying to tell you somthing? Try immortal Technique.

www.azlyrics.com...

Verse 2 of the song
This is the point of no return ni**a you better believe this
Mary Magdalen giving birth to the children of Jesus
The evolution of the world, bloody and dramatic
Human beings killing monkeys to conquer the planet
The kingdoms of Africa and Mesopotamia
Machine gunnin' your body with depleted uranium
This is the age of micro chips and titanium
The dark side of the moon and contact with aliens
I started out like Australians, criminal minded
Broke into hell, tore it down, and built a city behind it
South Paul, murderous, methodology ni**a
Remember that I'm just a man don't follow me ni**a
Cause once you past the point you can never go home
You've got to face the possibility of dying alone
So tell me motherf**ker, how could you die for the throne?
When you don't even got the #in' heart to die for your own
It rains acid, one day the earth will cry from a stone
And you'll be lookin' at the world livin' inside of a dome
Computerized humanity living inside of a clone
This is the place where the unknown is living and real
Worm went to planet X and the seventh seal
Universal truth is not measure in mass appeal
This is the last time that I kneel and pray to the sky
Cause almost everything that I was always ever told was a lie

The entire new album is full of this stuff. I'm so glad that this stuff is hitting the mainstream, people really need to listen to the true messages of these songs, especially uprising.

And, as I watch your video, now, at the mark where you said, I see what London is (the way they decribe it) and that's exactly where America is heading. It's like they were the test, or something.

Espically considering where we're heading with Martial Law, etc. Obama just amended that EO, almost 2 weeks ago...

Man. # is about to get deep.

Seriously i can recommend you hear more, they have always had a penchant for the world of conspiracy, exo-politics is a good song aswell.
Checkout all their albums.
Unfortunately there is not a place where Matt can express all of his views without ridicule. Even die hard fans seem to pass it off as him joking. It kind of annoys me that the majority listen to his music and just dont get it.
Still people are allowed to enjoy things in their own way and it is a pretty awesome sound.

Funny thing is, I started going thru their catalog and recognized another 5 or 6. Never knew who they were - just radio time, I guess, on the way to and from work or whatever.

NOW, I need to start reading their lyrics, more - I may have a new favorite here.

Also their last live dvd was called HAARP, it had some good cover art ill try and dig up and post when i have the time, stuff of star maps, cydonia and that type of thing. He also is a firm believer that 9/11 was an inside job, and that to me at least seems to be the underlying motivation for 'The Resistance'. Although its buried under the guise of some more deeper issues. The book 'The Black Swan' was an inspiration for him.

As for calstorm, who cares, lets not get into the whole commercialisation of music. Just know that it enables them to produce fantastic music and amazing live performances that being stuck on an indy label could never allow.
Also Reel big fish? Really? they kind of suck.

That song just comes to mind when I think of them. Its just that under the circumstances I can't trust that the messages they are sending are the truth any more. Perhaps enough truth to get people interested but its more like half truths and disinfo. I just can't believe they are still calling the shots about what goes into their music anymore. Just my humble opinion. Could be wrong, they might still have a say, but I doubt it.
