First Aid Books?

Hi, I'm a new poster here (lurked for quite a while though), and I just had a question. Can anyone recommend any especially good books on field first aid or other "do it yourself" medical skills that would be needed after SitX goes down? I've browsed Amazon and considered several purchases, but I have a limited budget and can't afford to pick up every book out there, so I'd like to spend my money on the best and most informative. Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated!

Where There Is No Doctor: A Village Health Care Handbook
by Jane Maxwell, Carol Thuman, and David Werner.

A good all item's covered book, that even non medical people can use. Word on the street is that when doctors go on aid mission type programs, they grab this book.

Thanks! I looked it up, and I'll probably be picking it up sometime in the next few weeks; probably get Where There Is No Dentist as well. No fun surviving the collapse of civilization as we know it and then having to gum down your MREs...

Bumped, because I've had a chance to look through it now.

A good book if you have access to meds. Very useful for identifying problems. Offers limited advice on cures and preventions.

The "Green Section" is very useful.

Are there any other books you would recommend?

"Emergency War Surgery" by The Army's Borden Institute.

A thorough guide to dealing with all types of injuries.

It can be found online for download if you look hard enough..
