With what you are going through, I'd say it is one of two things:
* You can't shut your mind off
As a sufferer of a serious type of medically diagnosed insomnia, I feel your pain.
I can't say get rid of the stress, because it isn't as simple as that. I can't say shut your mind off, because that isn't an easy task.
All I can say is do something that relaxes you and see if you can just drift off. Warm bath, cup of herbal tea, a cool, dark room, maybe a boring
