LONDON (Reuters) - Ryanair's chief executive said Europe's largest budget carrier might start charging passengers for using the toilet while flying, but his spokesman cautioned Michael O'Leary often just made things up at will.

"One thing we have looked at in the past and are looking at again is the possibility of maybe putting a coin slot on the toilet door so that people might actually have to spend a pound ($1.43) to spend a penny in future," O'Leary told BBC television.

Seriously? On a plane? When will too far be too far?

This just ticks me off, more crud on a plane to pay for plus your ticket, food, drinks, peanuts. What's next Paying for your Air?

Heh, They'll think of something as people dont fly, the less people fly the more expensive it will be just wait.

Sewage disposal is expensive, but come on, so are plane tickets.
They claim this cost from there tax bill anyway.
Either that or there airline company is registered in some tax haven where they pay 0 tax.
This would not be acceptable.

I like the use of the term "spend a penny".

I really doubt this would actually be implemented, though - there would quickly be an 'incident' that the news media would of course gleefully cover, lawsuits, etc.
