ufo on cnn !undeniable proof! debunk this if you can!

This has already been covered on ATS. It is obviously a meteor.

Looks like the same kind of meteor that went over where I live in Edmonton Canada check out the super cool footage here! This is real footage hundreds of people saw it.

Thanks for your sensible response, what I find most annoying is that, one has to wade through almost a whole thread discussing a streetlamp before someone posts the story behind the video in question.

The thread isn't about the meteor.

Read the OP again, he is talking about the streetlamp...and as has been stated this video has been posted many times before already, some regarding the meteor, some regarding the street light.

why havent the mods closed this thread yet? is it not taking up so much precious bandwidth? the OP is obviously deranged and has been banned from what i hear. the subject matter has been discussed and proved to be WITHOUT a shadow of a doubt to be a street lamp. yes it is dont argue this its not a flying object. so i think its time the mods had a look into closing this thread.

I am a believer.
I've seen my fair share of "things", not to mention the overwhelming evidence in form of videos, pictures and trustworhty testemonies thereof, especially what NASA has leaked the last couple of years (finally!)
I am pretty convinced that there are "UFO's" out there.

...I am also pretty convinced that that is a freakin streetlight. And the other thing is a rather large meteorite.

Get over it.

Of course UFO's exist. If you were to hire a chopper and fly it around and you didn't tell someone that's asking who you are well, who you are... then you're an Unidentified Flying Object which does not = Alien

That is clearly the new blimp if anyone has ever been to a running before.


Now the thing shooting through the sky...Could be what NASA says it was or a UFO. But I find it a bit odd of the lack of evidence in this whole thing.

It's simply the front side of a blimp




Look like at the altitude of... 3-8 thousand feet.

I don't think it's a blimp. This has already been definitively explained. Here is a quote from the other thread, where I think greeneyedleo pretty much proved the case for it being a streetlight.

ye gods, first a space shuttle, now little green men are ditching their getaway cars over us. texas will have to replace cowboy hats with hardhats if the skies keep falling on us! anywhoo, yes thats a streetlight boys and girls. if it were not, then the view from the police car in plano would have shown it as well, judging from the altitude and trajectory. hey, at least we got to have fun with this one!

Why do you guys bother making elaborate posts showing it's a street lamp? it's painfully obvious it's a street lamp.

We have to understand that many here are younger less experienced, believe in their hearts UFOs or other races of beings exist, and have gobs of energy and attitude about this.

To experienced UFO researchers and calm observant members this is a clear misinterpretation, but not surprising taking into account the membership here. We do not know if it is a 12 year old kid with a compelling thread title or a seasoned UFO investigator, so, these things are expected.

Where we run into trouble is when the OP has negatively interpreted or, maybe rightly so, taken criticism badly. We all had problems emotionally in our younger years and I expect some younglings have been battered down and have huge chips on their shoulders. Some older and mature people also carry these issues forward too, so it is not only the young. This is one issue we must deal with here, for the lack of transparency that had to be here to support anonymity. It's that or a chip in your forehead from big brother.

Youth is tough. Especially in this current world. So have some tact and gracious compassion for such obvious errors or we end up with a terrorist instead of a researcher when these young and as yet experienced people grow to adults.

People want to believe all they are told is not the pinnacle of everything to expect when their inner spirit tells them otherwise. Kids are brighter and more aware, and almost come pre-loaded with knowledge thanks to the automatic weapon media firing into their brain non-stop.

They are ready to believe anything, and that is why education is our most important needed focus now. Otherwise we disenfranchise most the young people and take their birthright to knowledge and understanding and they become angry, lonely and a problem for themselves and others.

This OPs attitude and exuberance overshadowed his ability to learn from the first several posts. We cant know the persons attitudinal dysfunctions other than his/her history with ATS.

Expect more of this type of post, and don't attack. Educate carefully not using inflammatory words, phrases or insinuation. Then you become the problem too.

We do not have the educational system we need in this society, as it is not provided us. we MUST educate ourselves as it was done for thousands of years by patient everyday teaching from experienced compassionate people in the village. Our village here at ATS needs people to help people, not slap them down like an authoritarian school marms with a hand splitting rulers.

This OP did himself in and in the process, did not seem to get it. But all who chastised him, insulted or where just downright ornery are also to blame.

We are responsible for each other here. Join the path to knowledge.

"Undeniable proof." I want to comment just on those words. Consider, the Phoenix Lights weren't just that array of lights that hung over the city, but a whole array of sightings throughout the state and observed by thousands of witnesses, one of which was the mayor of Phoenix. And still it's not considered "undeniable proof." The NASA tether incident featured supposed "debris" particles, some of which pulse with light and change direction. Still not considered "undeniable proof." The list goes on and on. Based on my 40 years of interest in ufos, I can assure you that there will never be "undeniable proof" because there will always be those who will claim to have debunked that proof, no matter how spurious the reasoning might be. For example, Phil Klass literally made a living out of simply characterizing every compelling sighting as Venus, a meteor, a satellite, a balloon, a bird or a plane. I'm not exaggerating. The Ohio sighting in which 3 different police departments chased a low-flying ufo around was explained by Klass as all of them chasing Venus! As soon as someone comes forward with nary so much as a skeptical attitude, the wind gets sucked out of a sighting in the public's mind. In fact, I think all a newspaper or tv station would have to do to debunk a sighting is to report that it HAD been debunked, without offering any explanation whatsoever, and that alone would kill it. Just something to think about the next time you're tempted to use the words "undeniable proof."

I do appreciate what you're saying though

I'm a firm believer when it comes to street lights. Thousands have reported seeing them, hundreds have been captured on film. Regressive hypnosis revealed that I was abducted by a street light in the past.
Debunkers will dismiss this footage as a UFO, ignoring the undeniable truth:
Street lights are real!
