Beck is new to me for the most part. I've heard him for a minute or two on the radio and seen a bit or two of his new show as I surfed through the news channels. Thanks for posting these video's. Looks like we might have a spokesman on the air. Good news if he continues. Far superior to the Jones types.

I know so terribly im "sorry", I just frown at the individuals here who make every attempt to distance themselves from the GOP hacks and the neoconservatives who brought upon this mess, but then continue to spread their messages and believe the garbage they say. It just doesnt make any sense to me.

If you look past parties and Beck, the REAL message of the video is that NOTHING has changed. Both parties load bills with earmarks, and BOTH parties are responsible for the Financial Crisis. I hate to quote Hillary Clinton, because she is also part of the problem, however, in this case, her famous book "It takes a Village" applies. It took a village of politicians, administrations, Bad Laws, Bankers, Wall Street brokers, and crooks like Madoff to create this mess. The housing/subprime mortgage disaster was in part caused by the this:
www.palmbeachpost.com...

When the bust started, fingers pointed toward mortgage brokers, who were forced to fend for themselves against onerous legislation. Slowly, the truth came out. Lending firms folded as their lines of credit failed. Wall Street investment banking firms failed as their real estate-backed securities went bust. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae became insolvent. In a rush to stop the bleeding, the federal government took control. Recent victims of the bust have been huge banks. Quiet while brokers were blamed, banks issued billions in subprime loans and took huge losses. With time working against them, the weight of subprime losses became a reality.
The cause? In the late 1990s, President Clinton set a goal to increase loans to low and moderate-income Americans. Congress forced Fannie and Freddie to lower their lending guidelines. Mortgage-backed securities were gobbled up by investors, and Wall Street sought out lending firms that could supply these higher-risk mortgages. President Bush echoed the call and encouraged more lending, creating subprime products. More buyers meant less inventory, and prices skyrocketed.

Both Democrats and Republicans hold plenty of blame for the mess. Remember, these 535 (maybe 530-there are a few good Congressmen) might belong to different parties, but with few exceptions, these laws pass with both Republican and Democratic support. In addition, these politicians may put on a good act in front of the cameras, and for the Congressional Record, but afterwards, they all go out across the street, sit down to the bar with their friendly lobbyists, get soaked, and laugh at how they pulled another one over the American taxpayer.
The entire system is broken, and probably is beyond repair. Partisanship does nothing but allow the present system to continue, because it is giving aid and support to the enemy of the American people- Corrupt politicians.

I did, the guys going on about the same crap, launching at the stimulus bill and Obama. I dont blame some people for opposing the stimulus bill but hearing this guy go off about how Obama lied about this and that is nothing new. Its fox news for freaken sakes, all theyv done since the general elections is unleash their scare tactics and doom and gloom messages. Now I know for a fact there are no real solutions from the conservatives, they have done, yall have none. The tax cuts are a joke by themselves, the majority of economists including Robini and Krugman have admitted investment in the nation is the only real stimulutive solution, and all iv heard from fox news is rant rant rant.

No no continue to reference what fox news has to say here, glorify what they have to say. In reality that news station after 8years of covering the ass of the Bush administration is turning on the new democratic one and voicing their opinion. Really, big change blaine.

The Obama administration never got a break from the right even before it started. This little rant of glenn becks is just a continuation.

"this is not a right left issue"

BS Glenn, thats about as much of a lie as the "fair and balanced" garbage you fellas got going on.

Iv given every other administration 2years to prove what they have had to say. I will give this administration a chance aswell.

You want me to further show you howmuch of neocon hack Beck is? In the 6 years of conservative majority in congress and in the whitehouse, where the hell was Beck if he actually believes his garbage? When Bush waged an unconstitutional war where the hell was beck? Oh wait he supported the war, the one thats costing us over $600 billion, the one thats costing us $200 million a day. Where the hell was beck when the Bush administration increased spending on military by over $1 trillion (excluding Iraq). The man was nowhere to be seen.

What a joke. Now his tracing this to the Clinton administration. Oh brother his trying out the "both democrat and republican" blame, oh wonderful beck, what a non-partisan approach to your rant. Where the hell were you or your buddies the last 8years glenn? If you want to go on about overspending where the hell were you between 2000 and 2006? You were all cozy with the Bush and his neocon buddies Beck.

The mans a neocon hack, and once again his putting on a show. How the hell can some of you on this thread claim not to be GOP or republican yet take in the same old crap? Support the same old garbage?

I hope it's worth the wait. See you in the bread line.

Maybe you'll get a quick pass to the front for your loyalty.

Keep ignoring it SG. There could be riots in the streets and you would be saying...

"I'm giving him a chance...still!! Bush screwed me for 8 years and I want redemption!!"

Nevermind the fact everyone else was screwed for the last 8 as well.

NO ONE ELSE was as angry as you. NO ONE else had their rights violated. NO ONE ELSE watched as we went to war with Iraq and didn't agree with it. NO ONE ELSE was upset about the state of our economy.

Obama coming in is NOT A RESET. If he wants to be a good President, he needs to get SPENDING UNDER CONTROL.

He is not.

Justify the spending without bashing the last 8 years...do it.

Let's see if you can make a whole post without bringing up the last 8 crappy years that WE ALL ALREADY KNOW ABOUT.

Just do it. Justify the spending.

Forget Beck. The same news has been reported by many independent newspapers. The Boston Herald has been independent since February of 1994, when Patrick Purcell, publisher of the Boston Herald and a News Corp. executive, purchased the Boston Herald and established it as an independent newspaper.
news.bostonherald.com...=news&position=recent_bullet

After persuading lawmakers to keep earmarks off the stimulus bill, Obama made no such attempt on the first non-emergency spending measure of his presidency. The result was that lawmakers claimed billions in federal funds for pet projects — a total of 8,570 earmarks at a cost of $7.7 billion, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense. Majority Democrats declined to provide a number of earmarks, but said the cost was far smaller, $3.8 billion, 5 percent less than a year ago. Among the earmarks was one sponsored by Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., who secured $200,000 for a "tattoo removal violence outreach program" in Los Angeles. Aides said the money would pay for a tattoo removal machine that could help gang members or others shed visible signs of their past, and anyone benefiting would be required to perform community service. Rep. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., said the bill included at least a dozen earmarks for clients of PMA Group, a lobbying company now at the center of a federal corruption investigation. "It’s simply not responsible to allow a soon-to-be-criminally indicted lobbying firm to win funding, all borrowed, in this bill," he said. No charges have been filed against the firm or its principals, although the company’s offices were raided earlier this month, and it has announced plans to disband by the end of the month. Federal prosecutors are investigating PMA Group’s founder and president, Paul Magliochetti, who is a former top aide to Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., chairman of the House Appropriations subcommittee that funds defense programs. In remarks on the House floor, Republican leader John Boehner urged Obama to veto the legislation, citing earmarks. At the White House, press secretary Robert Gibbs responded only in general terms whether that was possible.

Remember, the video is about EARMARKS in the bill. Beck merely reported that in a higher octane way. Other news media reported the same thing.

You conveniently left out the fact that the dems helped to create the mess we're in also. I'm "sorry" but there it is. Glenn Beck is the furthest thing from a neocon mouthpiece there is given who's on the radio with him. He lambasts liberals and conservatives alike when he sees a need for it. He's an equal opportunity basher. Just because you don't like the messenger doesn't mean the message is incorrect.

The majority of Americans supported going to Iraq at the time. Are they all NEO CON hacks if they changed their minds?

I think you are just angry that your hero got caught in a fib...and it got you in a bit of a tizzy.

You are willing to go to extreme lengths. I knew alot of people that supported the war because they were scared after 9/11. The government told them that they had to go there....just like they are telling scared people NOW that we NEED TO SPEND.

Don't you get it? It's always going to go both ways because they both do the SAME thing. The only difference is each party's agenda.

Once people like you quit looking at partisanship then maybe we can actually make REAL progress in this country.

Until then, we will all be stolen from and lied too.

You should know that.

Again you don't mention he attacked the Republicans just as fiercely. Selective hearing. We are discussing Beck, not Fox News.

Are you defending Obama even though he clearly lied? When you voted, did you walk into that booth thinking I hope the person I vote for is lying and won't do what he says he will do? Is that what you really want?

Both Parties suck and as long as people are gullible enough to subscribe to either, we are in deep .....

My Voter Registration says "undeclared" and it is accurate. I hate them both. Lying SOB's

Are you listening to anything that has been posted here? You sound like a broken CD, that is stuck on the same track.
Repeat after me:
The news reported by BECK is the same news that NEWSPAPERS like the Boston Herald reported.
The VIDEO is about EARMARKS in the spending bill, and Obama's promise NOT to have any more EARMARKS.
If you aren't going to discuss the TOPIC, then stop diverting the thread, by your rantings, which have NOTHING to do with the TOPIC.

I agree with some of what Southern Guardian said.
If you're noticing, Beck has impeccable timing, rather convenient I'll say.

As for you, I don't think you're a pro like beck.

I'm not sure what you mean by impeccable timing..if you could elaborate.

And you are right...i'm not a pro..i'm not even an amateur..i'm just a dumb guy who works..luckily...for a living. I'm a certified college drop out...I have to thank skilled labor for saving my butt.

Glen Beck is a clown. He rants and raves everything so you get all worked up. Why? So people like you watch his tv show. Your his target market. It's funny how he claims that America is looked at as a market and there you are in front of your tv. I actually watched a few shows but speculation and hype have no place in my life. This happens with every presidency and everything the government does. And by who? News agencies. You know "corporate" news agencies. The ones that are conspiring with the government to brainwash you with their brand of media. Their controlling you so you continue to watch their programs. Don't watch any other news channels, don't listen to any other radio stations, or read any other newspapers. Just stick with them because their the ones running the country. They need more advertising dollars. More book deals. Not the government. Not the president. Hell they didn't elect any of them. They wanted Republican majority. Boo hoo. Democratic majority is in effect. Let's make the country go into a downward spiral because there cannot be any compromise to democratic rule. That is "russian" socialism don't forget. Tower collapse terror. I'd love to see Medvedev or Putin kicking the crap out of these big mouth shock jocks. You ever here any American Russians stepping up to the plate? That's censorship. Glen Beck just needs something to go by to keep you tuned in. Earmarks sounded good for the day. If you do not believe me then look at Glen Beck then look at John McCain. Do you see the difference? I do. I hope the Fox Network wakes up and moves this asshat to Comedy Central where he rightfully belongs. Where's your savior Ron Paul at anyway? He always speaks the truth among the flock. You are done. Satan lives. Goodbye America.

Any smart conservative in this country should hate the republican party.

It seems that ALL liberals in this country love the democratic party, when they should also hate their "party" that oh so beautifully represents them.

You say it is Fox news BS. You realize he has been saying the same stuff for YEARS AND YEARS? You realize he just got switched to Fox this year?

Not that it has to do with ANYTHING posted in this thread, but why do you claim all of Glenn Becks points (that he proves oh so nicely) are invalid? Are you defending the government or do you just not like him? I fail to see how this is neocon trash (whatever that means - seems like a baseless label nowadays) when he is pointing out blatant lies?

Seems that nowadays our most intelligent people would never dare set a foot in such a corrupt job setting.

Great OP. Show me what tells more truth then the facts and video of it all...

And to you Southern Guardian - maybe once you can make some real claims as to why Glenn Beck should have no credit, is when I will look at your posts with a bit of reality. Because so far, it only seems that you spew the same "NEOCON/LIBERAL BAD PEOPLE" trash.

What does this have to do with Obama lying?

Why should we NOT get worked up over the issues he discusses? It is sickening.

Glenn Beck is in a business as well. But should we discredit him just because he is also telling the truth? Are you so used to be being LIED TO you HATE THE TRUTH?

If you can make good money telling the truth that our leaders are stealing from you - why wouldn't you?

I got a better idea...lets make a show that paints life a pretty picture. That is what you want right?

He has better news regarding politics then any other MSM BS. But once more...should we discredit him for making a living and telling the truth?

Does it occur to anyone here, that all those earmarks by the Republicans were passed without a single yes vote in the House? And none he mentioned were put forth by Senators Spector, Snow, or Collins...the only three Republicans to vote yes in the Senate?

I'm not saying that they Republicans are not dirty. Far from it. OTOH, why would there be Republican earmarks in a bill none of the sponsors of which, voted for? Something is fishy in Denmark.

I have enjoyed telling a dozen or so Republican fundraisers, that have called soliciting, since the vote on the "stimulus" package, that I have abandoned the Republican party. That unless and until they purge the party of the three Senators who voted for it, they will never see another dime of my support money. I know that those three voting differently, would not have changed anything in the long run, most likely. What sticks in my craw, is that even when it makes no real difference, they STILL can't take a stand on what are supposed to be Republican values.

I kind of feel like Flounder must've in Animal House, when he questioned Otter about the fact that they were cutting up his brother's car. Otter's reply was right in line with the politics of today....Republican or Democrat. He smiled and said, "Hey, what can I say?! You #ed up! You trusted us!"

I think it was Bluto, who went on to be a Senator, according to the *what happened to them?* text at the end. Silly me. I thought it was a joke.....

And why do you think this has anything do to do with Fox News?

I am missing your point. So Fox hired someone who actually knows something?

I got some questions.

Did you vote for Obama?
Do you support this lie?
Why should we discredit Beck?
Do you ACTUALLY think conservative = republican?
Do you like lies over the truth?

I am pretty sure you know all of my answers. Feel free to elaborate if you feel my questions are to strict...but none the less, answer them.
