that's a strangely disturbing looking fish

Macropinna microstoma: A deep-sea fish with a transparent head and tubular eyes

It's face...I don't know... wierd but cool.

One of my favorite episodes of Planet Earth is the Deep Sea one. They show such wonderful life down there. I all ways tune in for such shows just because it fascinates me so!

The Deep Ocean has the most interesting adaptations for living that far under the water!

I read somewhere that these fish roll their eyes into the back of their head so they can see through their own skin for a greater viewing angle.
Very strange indeed. I hope they find one that has the entire body invisible because that would be awesome.
