special abilities

hello all. i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. this is the best place i have come across so far that i thought might give me some answers.

i'm trying to find some information about certain special abilities that might be possible for a human to have. something about "unlocking" certain abilities the brain isn't normally capable of. anything really. a website of some kind would be great but a book or person or anything would help get me on the right path.

Firstly, Heroes isn't real. It's a TV show.

Every human brain has the same learning capacity. Some just learn certain things harder or easier than others.

If you do want to experiment around with "Brain Powers" try Remote Viewing or Astral Projection. There is info on this site regarding the subjects, apparently anyone can do it with practice.

Putting away 10% of your paycheck each week is pretty special...voting every election after studying the issue would be pretty special, treating your nieghbor as family would be really special...working at social centers or soup kitchens would mean your truly special.

i really enjoy the links you all have provided, very interesting. however it isn't really what i'm looking for. maybe if i try explaining it a bit better you will understand what i'm talking about.

i'm trying to figure out why is it i know what people are doing when i'm not with them. not everyone of course, just certain people. for example, my father lives down the street from me, about a mile i would say, and for some reason for the past couple of years i've been able to know what he is doing in his house without having to call or go look for myself.

it's very strange to me still and i can't seem to figure out what's causing it. i can't really control it or anything like that it's just random. some times i think about him and i get nothing but other times i can picture what he's doing in my head, then i will call him and he will confirm it.

i've had this happen to me quite a bit lately, more than i have in the past. there have also been instances where i've predicted people's actions like in the super market if there's a crowded isle, or any crowd i've come across recently, it seems as though i can part them just by telling them to in my head. the most dramatic time this has happened for me was very recently at a concert when i was split up from my friends, i started getting frustrated and worried to the point where i was about to have a panic attack then suddenly the whole crowd parts, the entire room pretty much, and across the part i see my friends. that freaked me out so back i fainted on the way to the car.

it's just been bugging me a lot more lately and i'm hoping to find any answers or people who might know something.

btw i can't figure out how to keep an account on here so i had to start another. no matter how many new passwords i request they're all wrong.

just a thought but do you meditate?

How do you know that your assumptions of what he is doing are accurate?

If what he is saying is true we might just have a full blown telepath on our hands. Cool! You should try some experiments to control this ability. AKA try to have conversations without actually talking, maybe have someone look at a card and use your ability to figure out what it is. Maybe try guessing cards before you draw them. Might help... Everyone has some sort of psi ability. Yours might just be extra special. I would definitely work on it and more importantly see it as a gift and not a burden, and more importantly than that, stop being afraid of it.

you might wanna chck out Reiki. most people when they lay their hands on someone, not much happens. A 10 minute initiation with Reiki, will confer our own abilities to access the creative force that is all around us. Not one person fails to do this. And it is not required to even believe in it, it goes beyond any form of faith healing.

Used throughout the world, including many hospitals, it is growing in credibility. To suddenely expereince healing, and a sense of joy & relaxation by placing your hands on either yourself or another, is truely one of the worlds simplist, yet important gifts.

Don't take my word for it, it's something that's gotta be experienced to be appreciated. :-) .

Edit: just saw your latter post. You might wanna check out Kuji-in. Although, this is deep spiritual; stuff, you'll miss out on many benefits if these little 'expereinces' are the goal.

meditation works.

I havent tried it but buddhists tell of people who have meditated to the point that they can unlock certain abilities.

There are many schools of meditation, you'll have to do the research to see which methods and approach appeals the most to you. But to understand what you are experiencing and to further develop that particular ability or open the door to new ones, you will need to meditate. Try chakra meditation, remote viewing, astral projection as keywords for your searches on ATS and elsewhere on the web.
