This guy was in since 2001 or 2002? That means he has reenlisted at least once already. He may not of fully understood what he was doing when he signed up back in 2001 or 2002 ... but when he reenlisted he knew what the deal was.

I'm calling BS on this guy. He could have not reenlisted. But he did. My guess (and it's only a guess) is that something else has happened and he just doesn't want to fulfill his contract.

Girlfriend troubles?
Money troubles?
Better offer elsewhere?

Whatever. He had a chance to change his course when he reenlisted.

Oh .. off topic a bit ... I was in the Army for 5 years. I'm a girl. I do not approve of having an Army where the men and women are together as they are. I'd like to see the old WACs come back - Womens Army Corp. I think it would be better. I know that when I was in I was a weak link in my unit. I was a 105 pound weakling and the guys always had to help me in the motor pool, etc etc.

"Better to be confused in the search for truth than fully confident and sound asleep in a dream of lies." - Unknown Person

Even if he re-enlisted, he might have seen more afterwards, he might have gotten information later on that he didn't have.

You should all be instead saying what took him so long and what about other troops why are they still abroad supporting making rich people richer. I know alot of them have little choice and it's a difficult decision to make though, so it' not an easy question to ask.

God help us all.

So, he has been in for 6-7 years. At some point he CHOOSE to RE-ENLIST. He signed a contract. He knew what signing that contract meant, yet he choose to do it anyways.

I feel absolutely no pity for him. A real man would take responsibilty for his CHOICE and serve out his contract THEN GET OUT!

WTF are you on about?!! Do you know what Contracts you agreed to that you really knew what you were signing or volunteering or giving consent for? It all boils down to Property Rights.

Here's a little study guide for ya, before answering that question:
