Film on the Planet Earth is at the pinnacle of FINE ART at the present time as evidenced by "The Reader" and many others.

Many films out currently are forcing the audience to examine human nature and it's implications in a global society.

If you are an adult and concerned with adult issues, consequences and want to experience an important work of art; please see "The Reader"

Sorry, I'm compelled to bump this thread.

This is a movie that needs to be seen by all aficionados of cinematic art.

I think a problem some people may have with this movie is it does deal with the affair of a fifteen year old boy. I have seen many European movies that deal with this theme tastefully, so I will see it when it plays on cable.

Yes, KF there is nudity and sexual content but it is an integral part of the story/script and in no way should affect any even moderately sophisticated adult.

But this is not a movie for anyone that finds adult subjects objectionable.

It does not bother me one bit as I am a big fan of European cinema. I think the problem is America is too prudish to deal with the themes of sexuality. I do look forward to seeing the movie.
